Dr. John Chenarides, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Chenarides. He takes time to explain the procedure, he makes you feel relaxed and he's just a really nice man and an excellent doctor. My procedure was done over 20 years ago. I had SVT and had the Catheter Ablation done to correct my irratic, racing heart beats that would just happen several times a year. It was successful and a relief to be rid of those terrible episodes that had me in the ER most times. He rid me of those terrible moments when my heart was racing. He deserves 10 stars in my book.

For the past six months, I was having problems with my ICD and I was very tired!!! I contacted Dr Chenarides, who had performed the original surgery to implant my ICD, pacemaker/defibrillator device. A lead had broken off and was twisted and turned internally. He repaired the lead, re-positioned and secured it. He is a very experienced, talented, honest, caring, and very compassionate person and Cardiac surgeon. What a blessing he is!!!! I thank God for him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an ICD cardiac surgery!!!! I felt very relaxed with him and his staff, who are also wonderful and very caring. To me, that is a reflection of his principles. FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY!!!!! Thank You, Dr Chenarides, I feel like now, because of you, I have another chance and hope to make the best of it!!!!

My father was transferred to 5 hospitals. Last being AGH to Dr. John Chenarides. This man is awesome, easy to talk to, explained everything. With all that could have happened. Everything he did turned out great.
