Dr. John Christie, MD

I’ve been in the healthcare system for a long time and unfortunately, especially within the last couple years, most compassionate, genuine Doctors were weeded out, however Dr. Christie is one of those rare “Diamond in a Haystack” Doctors left. He takes the time to listen: I mean hear what you are saying without waiting for you to stop talking or hastefully interrupting you, so he can talk, then write some medication that you don’t need so he can leave; he always has the patients best interest at heart. I’d rather wait 2,3, or 4 hours to see a Doctor like this, then wait 15 min to see one of the numerous fear-based- fear-pushing Doctors today.

This is a very knowledgeable doctor that takes his time and gives quality service.

Dr Christie is a fabulous physician who takes the time to talk to you and get get to know you. He is thorough and honest. I can not say enough good things about him. Five stars out of five.

I wish these new doctors were taught to be as caring and detailed as doctor Christie. Yes you might have to wait for a little while but it's only because he is giving all his patients the same level of care all Doctors need to. He treats you with respect and values your opinion. He seems to treat a little bit of everything like the old school Doctors use to do and If he can't he will find you someone who can. I am glad I was able to find a doctor that still does that.

I needed a new internist when my long term Doctor retired.a friend who is a retired nurse recommended Dr. Christie and I'm glad I saw him. Yes, the wait is longer than I am used to, even with an appointment, but that is because this doctor takes his time with patients, listens carefully, and asks appropriate questions. I have several medical issues so I see a fair number of doctors and Dr.Christie has spent about twice as much time with me as the others. He is excellent.

I wish I had found Dr. Chrisitie years ago. He reminds me of my family doctor of my childhood. I didnt think there were Doctors like him still practicing. He is extremely detail oriented, takes his time, and always remembers me on site. I don't feel like I am a "number" with Dr. Christie. Dr. Christie's staff is just as affable as he. Courteous, compassionate care. Very Rare indeed. I drive several hours to see him and its worth it. Walk in's are welcomed! Thank you, Christie Medical clinic!!

Had called the 5 top rated doctors provided by my insurance carrier. He was the only one who was accepting new patients or that had any availability within two months for a new patient. I was offered a same day appt even. He was amazing. He reviewed my complicated health history and the records I provided him before entering the room. He addressed all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and offered me treatment options, options? He spent 45 minutes with me. I love him and his nurse.

Dr. Christie is one of a dying breed of doctors who listens to his patients and takes the time needed to diagnose and treat. He genuinely seems to care about the well-being of his patients, so expect to wait while he provides others with the same time and attention.
