Dr. John Constantino, DPM

I made an appointment after experiencing bilateral feet and ankle pain without injuring anything. Dr Constantino told me it was nothing serious and that it should get better soon. I asked him directly if it could be rheumatoid arthritis or a different autoimmune disease. He simply shook his head no without giving it real thought. He ordered an MRI and in my second appointment with him after getting the results, he still said it was nothing serious, just minor tendinitis. I mentioned that the pain had spread to my knees, and he said he doesn’t do knees. He clearly wasn’t taking me seriously so I made an appointment with a different doctor and was eventually diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Constantino‘s ignorance resulted in a a couple month delay in diagnosis and treatment, which can be detrimental to controlling the disease. The doctor who diagnosed me said my symptoms and the MRI had some clear indications of an autoimmune disease and was appalled that a doctor missed it.

I wrote a negative review about Alexander Orthopedics in general and unfortunately had to return. Dr. Constantino obviously knew about the review and totally blew me off. Very unprofessional and insulting. I was shocked.

Dr Constantino is always polite with incredible bedside demeanor. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional at all times it has a positive outlook and what he does. I appreciate his care as she will be one of the best in the business very soon, thank you.
