I was excited, but apprehensive to have cataract surgery. Dr. Costello earned my trust with his knowledge of the laser process and lens implantation, as well as, his positive personality. The surgery facility and staff were highly professional, good natured, and kind in all areas of the process from reception to operating room. I felt truly cared for, all items were explained and directions sent home. Scheduled times remained punctual and they worked to meet my timing needs. Each night after surgery, Dr. Costello called to check on my progress.

Dr.Costello was wonderful, explained everything to me before surgery. Had to have cataract removal in one eye. I will definitely be going back to him for the other eye surgery. The staff is friendly and understanding. Great experience, highly recommend

Dr John Costello was surgeon for my recent cataract operation. I was so nervous going in to it but he and his team at Rome Eye Surgery were absolutely wonderful! The outcome of my surgery is absolutely amazing! I never thought I’d see so well after surgery and really didn’t realize how much I was seeing so poorly. I now have 20 20 vision and only need readers. This procedure was absolutely painless and I’d recommend that if you require cataract surgery insist on Dr John Costello do your surgery he’s a great surgeon!

Office staff are pleasant and professional; surgery performed @ Griffiss Surgery Center; also excellent and lastly; very pleased with my care from Dr Costello. The procedure and options were thoroughly explained and follow-up made me feel like my recovery was normal.
