Excellent surgeon and takes all the time you need to explain everything and treat you. He is extremely nice and has a wonderful team!

Smartest spine doctor I have ever encountered. He is also a very caring doctor listening to a patients complaint then explaining what is wrong.

I researched a long time looking for the Best Neurosurgeon to treat my Failed Spine Surgery. Dr DeVine came up to be close to my rual SC location. I made an appointment. I made it clear my request was to see Dr.DeVine ,not A P.A.. I was assured I would be seeing Dr DeVine. I brought recent MRI disc for diagnostic help . I live 2:30 hours away. To make this brief, I did NOT SEE Dr.Vine but his P.A.. and after turning over the Disc and answering questions, the young man left the room. I expected to see the Doctor next to discuss my complaint ,etc.,and to see what could be done. The P.A returns and tells me "Dr.DeVine says there can nothing be done ,you are too great a risk for surgery", Thank You and GoodBye. Shocked I gathered my things and left the office in tears. The "BEST THERE IS'for Failed Spine Surgery?, did not give me the Courtesy to even poke his head in the exam room door to discuss any REASON why I was told this . No way to treat a person! One in severe Need.

Dr. Devine has followed my case for several years. He is thorough, sensitive to feedback, and non-aggressive in my treatment plan, which I appreciate greatly. As a former trauma and ICU RN, I have a strong working knowledge as a medical base but rely on my physician for his subject matter expertise and professional judgement. He spends quality time, performs a complete evaluation each visit, listens, and then provides recommendations based on my case results. I am grateful to have Dr. Devine and his staff PA, C. Wispert, to follow my case.

I am facing serious spinal surgery. Dr. DeVine, after a thorough examination, has explained the treatment I need in terms I can understand. He engendered my trust and I believe he will provide the expertise and care I need to improve my quality of life. I will recommend Dr. DeVine without hesitation or reservation. I am confident he will take care of me.

Dr. DeVine operated on my wife's spine in posterior of her neck 6/28/21. She awoke unable to use her hands and a screw had come loose in the rod he had inserted. He operated a second time Aug.16. This time she awoke unable to use any part of her body. It is a year later, and she is worse that ever. She can barely walk and use hands. I, her husband, have to help her with almost all of her bodily functions. He has ruined two lives.

Dr. Devine is the Best !!! He's caring, and concerning of his patient. He takes the time to hear your feelings and thoughts. I wouldn't recommend no other spine Doctor HE IS THE ONE.. You won't need a second opinion because he's the only option for someone to have your back HE is your Doc. I wouldn't change NOTHING about him... He is very honest and stern if it's something he doesn't feel right doing then he always have a back up plan! #Literally

Dr DeVine fused my spine from pelvis to T11. A very long surgery and a relatively short recovery with easy to get to follow-up visits. He is very personable, too. His PAs were excellent to deal with.

I have had 3 lower back surgeries with my last 2, L4/L5, L5/S1 fussion, being performed by Dr DeVine. He is very knowledgeable, personable and explains in detail all that needs to be corrected or if it can be corrected, why not and alternatives. I cannot say enough about Dr DeVine and his staff.

About 13 years ago (I was in 3rd grade), I dislocated C1 and C2 in my spine jumping on a trampoline. Dr. Devine was working in WA at the time so I cannot vouch for his current team. However, he was very professional in the lengthy process of fitting me with a halo and undergoing a spinal fusion with a hip graft. Years later, I have no issues from the surgery.

Tried to see The Doctor twice about 10mths apart. Saw Whisper his PA both times. Basically to be blown off and being told we should follow up with a neuro doc. When asked what neuro we should see Whisper explain how there use to be one in with them but not anymore. Advised us to call concierge and they would help. I did as he Sujested only to find out we needed a referral. This office would not give a referral but said they’ed make me an appoint to see the doc.( finally) a week later.
