Arrived 1.5 hr late.. did not even review the MRI and referred for another MRI.. He should be dealing solely with administrative matters. Because of his poor care I ended up going to NYU Langone

Bad experience. 15 minute meeting in which he referred me to another doctor. Mandatory x-rays even though I didn't need them and knew it. 500$ charge. what a joke.

Dr. Difiori misdirected me to his care when I sought a physiatrist, telling me that he has the expertise to help, even though knowing I’m not a sports medicine patient. He orders lots of tests which he inadequately addresses as he lacks the knowledge to do so, and has no commitment to patient care. The physiatry department contacted him for a referral, but he denied it, even after my multiple requests, and his diagnosis of the condition that physiatrists treat. Instead, he said he’ll send me to a neurologist for nerve testing as I’ve not had it yet. Physiatrists do nerve testing and know when it’s needed by contrast. Says he’s unfamiliar with the physiatry department. I sent him names of doctors in that area who treat my diagnosis. No response. Now he says he can’t help me as I’m not a sports medicine patient! His refusal to facilitate treatment is an ego issue and failure of medical ethics. There many sports medicine doctors with add’l specialties.Best to see one who isn't so narrow

He shows up an hour late to the appointment and spends literally two minutes with me, barely examining my wrist properly and then requests useless tests that I didn't need. This happened twice, I understand doctors being late but at least examine me properly and take the time to answer my questions. What a waste of my time (had to go during work), money (billing my insurance and copay) and my sanity.

My experience was terrible. After examing my ruptured pectoral muscle he reiterated what my internist said; no surgery, just physical therapy. Sensing my frustration at bring told almost nothing specific, he passed me off to a surgeon. He refused to respond to my numerous emails asking very basic questions. He simply ignored me and didn't seem to give a damn. Wasted my money on this non-caring doctor. Worst treatment by a doctor I've ever had. UCLA refused to help after saying it would.
