He helped me to prevent strokes
A couple of years ago while on vacation I apparently had a stroke when I was blind and one eye for about an hour. I went to my internist to report it who didn’t no follow up or make any comment about it. He never even recommended any medication. Some months later it happened again, so I contacted Dr. Dodd’s office and he saw me that very afternoon. They worked me in. I did not have to wait long and he was the one that explained that I apparently had a small stroke behind the eye and then he told me it would be critical that I take baby aspirin. That was later confirmed by a neurologist and thanks to Dr. Dodd. I have been able to avoid any others of these. Thank you Dr. Dodd for helping me!

Bad tempered doc.
Misdiagnosed my eye problem. Lacks control of emotions (yelled) when patient asserted herself. Argues with patient over his misdiagnosis.

Totally incompetent, he operated on my brow and eyelids and besides not achieving results promised he left large scars on my forehead. And interestedly when speaking to two other ophthalmologist when I could not remember Dodd's name they offered — Dr. Dodd, so his reputation proceeds him.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Dodd after switching from another provider. Wow, I am so impressed with his staff and with Dr. Dodd. He sat and answered questions, giving me great explanations. I didn't feel like he was rushing at all, and was giving me 100% of his attention.
