Excellent surgeon. He is the most qualified, caring, kind and understanding doctor. He did my surgery awhile ago, I appreciate his expertise in that I am able to live a normal life now. I have some very complicated health conditions and he was very understanding and spent the time needed to explain the surgery and the risks to me and my husband. Now to the present time, I had to go to the emergency department for abdominal pain. Afterwards I was to follow up with a GI physician. I sent a message to ask him if he would follow up with me as the issues are health issues he manages. He was so kind to send a message back to explain what he wanted me to do before I see him. Office staff made the appointment as directed. I appreciate him so much. He shows how much his patients mean to him by his support and taking the time to send the messages himself. Most offices all you hear from are the nursing/MA staff. I appreciate my doctors taking the initiative to contact the patient personally. Thank you Dr. Eggenberger and your staff.

Excellent
Very kind, and took the time to provide thoughtful explanation and consideration during my appointment. I asked a ton of questions, and he never sounded impatient or rushed, and took the time to listen and answer each one carefully. His bedside manner and genuine care for the patient was very much appreciated. I left my appointment feeling very reassured that I am in the right hands.

He did an outpatient surgery on my mother and 3 days later she was in the hospital in sepsis. She was on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks and was in the hospital twice and in 2 different rehab facilities for 2 months. He admitted he used poor judgement and made the wrong decision in how he closed up her wound and did not leave it open to heal from the inside out. 10 months later she is still suffering pain and the wound is still open. He has ruined my mother’s quality of life for good.
