Dr. John Fischer, MD

Hot-tempered, intimidating when he feels he is crossed, even if not legitimate. Insensitive to pain caused during exam. Unfamiliar with how poor communication can negatively impact a patient. Avoid.

I suffered with a problem that Dr. Fischer resolved. I am glad he was the physician I was referred to. I highly recommend him for any of the care he provides.

I was referred to this doctor due to some health concerns. I waited 2 months to get in for an appt. He walked into the room, introduced himself, and maybe spent 2-5 minutes at most with me. The only question he asked was “how can I help you?” but did not ask about symptoms or any clarifying questions, order labs, or anything that would help figure out what is going on. He spent under 5 minutes with me and seemed very rushed and uncaring. I wish I would have read reviews before wasting my time. :(

In short, I had a medical issue. He did not make a good faith effort to help. Ok bedside manner, terrible listener. Once I was diagnosed with an infection, it took several messages to him just to get a prescription for antibiotics over a month later. I imagine if he was interested in your case, or if the diagnosis was easy, he would appear to be a good doctor. He just wasn't for me.
