Dr. John Fleming Jr, MD

I took my wife in to see dr fleming for severe hip pain and he ordered an MRI, but the insurance company needed more information from him to approve it. Now 3 weeks later and he still hasn't gotten back to the insurance company. Also he doesn't like to keep up on ordering pain medication for her. I had to take her to the emergency room to get more done because she couldn't handle the pain any longer. They did an cat scan and gave her medication and refered her to an orthopedic surgeon. When ever you go to his office you can plan on sitting there at least 2 hours , one time we were there for 4 hours. And at times the office can be rude. And if you need a refill on a prescription you better do it way in advance, they tend to take a while to get to it.

Dr Fleming is compassionate to both patient and family. He was my dads doctor and he really helped prepare us for end of life choices that I knew would have to be faced. He is up on the ever changing medical field. You may have to wait in the office before you get seen but it is because he takes time with his patients. I am a patient as well as my son and I couldn't be more confident in any other Doctor. I work in healthcare and the hospital he is affiliated with.I see first hand how good he is.
