Horrible physician that does not care for patients. Almost died with him as my surgeon at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. Never visited me after release from ICU near death experience. Lost over 40 pounds while in his care.

I was recently diagnosed with a Melanoma. Dr Hamner came highly recommended by a top healthcare professional. I was told "This is your man to call, Dr Hamner who specializes in Melanomas. " They didn't give me a few Dr's names to chose from. This is your man, I was told. Dr Hamner is a wonderful surgical oncologist. He is very professional and has a great bedside manner. He is also very easy to talk with. I felt the whole time that I was in good hands. After my surgery, I had a follow up appointment with him. As I was walking out with him from the exam room and thanking him for his great care another lady noticed him and said "there's my favorite Dr." I said to her "It looks like I'm not the only one who loves this Dr."
