Very Personable and Thorough.
I saw Dr. Hicks for the first time as a new patient, after moving from another state. I have several existing heart problems, yet, Dr. Hicks broke each one down separately, which, in turn made me not feel so overwhelmed. He’s also a very caring person; I felt like I was simply chatting with a neighbor. I left his office perfectly confident that I had entrusted my heart care to the right physician. His nurse, Jim was just as wonderful, and the office staff was also very personable and professional.

I've been a patient of His for a couple/few years now. I've had a quadruple bypass, ten stents, a pacemaker/defibrolator, and a low ef of 30-35. He's pretty much keeping me alive. I'ld recommend Him and the practice to anyone. Staff is VERY friendly, and Dr Hicks has a GREAT Bedside manner.

I’ve been seeing him for four years, not because I have heart problems but rather to my familial history of heart disease. I think he is fantastic...explains things in “normal” terms, etc. Recently I went for a stress test and prior to the test fluid was discovered around my heart. He sent me immediately to the emergency room and within 4 1/2 hours the procedure to drain it was complete and I went home the next morning. I’ve been back three times since and no sign of fluid or any other issues. Very happy that he is my doctor.

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Hicks but I have seen him three times now. Each time the wait was short and the staff efficient and friendly. Dr. Hicks is very personable and has a great sense of humor. He takes the time to listen and doesn't seem to ignore your input, which is my pet peeve with some doctors. Very courteous and mindful of your time. All of my results have been positive so far so I like that a lot too!! Well worth your consideration as your cardiologist.

Dr. Hicks was very easy to talk to and very patient in listening to what was happening in my health situation. I have a very complicated health history and most doctors don't listen but doctor Hick was very friendly as well as his nurse and front end staff. I moved to this area from Arizona, just a few weeks ago and he got me in to see him as soon as possible. I would in courage whoever is in need of a doctor who is ready to help in any way and who takes the time to listen, Dr. Hicks is the one.

Dr. Hicks is an amazing doctor and I highly recommend him. I have been an R.N. for over 40 years with a specialty in cardiac critical care. He is the best cardiologist I have ever known and also one of the best diagnosticians I have ever dealt with. I did not work with him, but I was his patient and am so glad I found him. He truly saved my life twice. If not for him, I would probably not be alive. He takes the time to listen to what you have to say and really hear you! He is a true gem!

Dr. Hicks literally saved my life! If it wasn't for his vast knowledge and caring I probably wouldn't be here today. Dr. Hicks knew what my problem was from the moment we discussed my symptoms. All was confirmed with tests and he made the best recommendations for me. I just can't say enough about Dr. Hicks and his staff! They are not only knowledge and professional, they truly care about their patients!!
