An Extraordinary Doctor
I recently had a shoulder replacement revision done by Dr. Horneff and he did an extraordinary job. Another orthopedic surgeon did the first 2 surgeries and they were failures, leaving me in a great deal of pain. Dr. Horneff was able to greatly reduce my pain level. He listened to my concerns and he and his physician assistant , Kaitlin, treated me like a VIP and I am sure that they treat every patient that way.

I tore my bicep that required surgery and knew someone who had seen him for a similar injury. My experience with Dr. Horneff was outstanding! He was not only extremely knowledgeable but his patient “bed-side manner” was fantastic. He was empathetic and took the time to personally follow up with me right before my procedure and a few days after to see how I was feeling. The rest of the staff were also great to work with as well. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Horneff to anyone in the future.

Dr. John Horneff is a very thorough, compassionate surgeon. At approximately 8-9 weeks out from a L reverse TSA, I experienced a problem with the joint possibly dislocating. He called me directly (on the side of the road) on his way to some well earned time at the shore. In his absence this past weekend, he directed me to go to a specific hospital ER where someone would be able to help me and then relay what needed to be done, what was done, and address any of my concerns back to him. Dr. Horneff could not have gone more out of his way. This doctor is fabulous!!

Excellent elbow surgeon. I tripped on a handicapped curb and landed on my right arm on cement, resulting in a dislocated elbow, radius and ulna split vertically, base of humerous shattered. Dr. Horneff repaired all 3 bones. I have regained full use of my arm after 3 months of PT. Dr. Horneff explained the surgery clearly to me and what the results would be. He's an excellent doctor and I will recommend him every chance I get.

Dr. Horneff performed a L shoulder reverse replacement surgery on 11/1/18. Needed due to pain and crunchiness secondary to osteoarthritis. No further pain within 72 hours post surgery. Complied with instructions for home exercises and have very satisfactory pain free range of motion now at 11 weeks out. Felt thoroughly prepared with all questions patiently addressed both before and after procedure. Very positive overall experience with Dr. Horneff.
