Excellent and Thorough
Very concerned about my overall wellbeing, and because of the number of years I have been seeing him, he takes my concerns seriously. His attention to my heart issues have saved my life.

Worth the wait
Dr. Isaac has been taking care of me for 2 years now. He is extremely courteous and has great bed side manner. When you're dealing with the best, sometimes you have to wait. I am so grateful that I am under the care of one of the most diligent and supportive doctors in the world.

Superb
Dr. Isaac is a world-class authority on cardiovascular and cardiology medical science. I found him to be extremely kind, competent and methodical. He's probably one of the top cardiology specialists in Houston if not Texas and the country. His clinic staff are also superbly efficient and courteous.

The doctor was informative and took care of my need- to be cleared for surgery. However, he didn't wear a mask during my initial visit in early January- amid the surge of Omicron variant. I asked him to wear a mask but he stated he was well vaccinated. He also doesn't know on the door before he walks into the exam room. Nor does his clinical staff (MA, NP). The tech who performed the stress test had to be asked to wear a mask, wore a cloth not surgical mask, and didn't wash hands, use hand sanitizer or wear gloves before injecting a solution into my IV.

Proactive, most knowledgeable cardio doc I know. As a patient with a few health issues, I like knowing my doc sees me for preventative measures before a problem arises. Proactive not super conservative, but doesn’t do more than needed. Good bedside manner, very friendly & kind, and always on the cutting edge of newer better technologies, but doesn’t ditch the old school tried and true ones, either. I’ve been seeing him over 15 years and brought my mom to him 2 years ago after a heart attack. I believe his preventative stance & knowledge has contributed to my mom doing so well at 81 yrs old. He’s a serious doc, but personable. I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else like I trust him with my health. His staff is friendly and efficient. But this is a busy office bc they are good docs in the practice. The only con would be sometimes you do have to wait. But honestly, he’s the only doc I will wait for bc I know he will give me the time & attention necessary and will be thorough.

I cannot recommend Dr. Isaac highly enough. He is thorough, extremely competent, and I immediately felt I could trust him with finding the right solution to my heart problems. As others have mentioned, there is sometimes a long wait to see him, but when you are dealing with heart issues, I certainly do not mind waiting to know I'm am being seen by the best. And, I can assure you Dr. Isaac is busy doing something important or you would not be waiting. My husband and I both think he is the best!

Dr. Isaac is brilliant! Caught my allergy to sulfa on my first visit when looking through my charts. I needed HBP medicine, but wasn't taking due to reactions from prescriptions that other doctors had prescribed. He recognized the issue and prescribed one I can take. The wait for the best can be long, but I trust him with my life. He's honest, up front, and to the point about what I need to do. The staff in the back area are outstanding and go to great lengths for patients. In my experience, long waits can be due to the test being run. Some tests are run before and after the administration of certain medicine and this can take several hours. Information is provided to the patient before the visits to prepare for lengthy tests. I do wish the phone answering staff would step it up a notch, they need to be on par with the doctor.

Dr. Isaac has time and time again proven to be one of the best cardiologists in the business. Although wait times can be longer than usual, it is by far worth the wait for the exemplary care you receive. Dr. Isaac is a superstar and has personally changed my life for the best.

Dr. Isaac and his staff @ Willowbrook Cardiology have been great! He takes the time to listen and answers all of my questions in plain english that I can understand. He is a busy Physician, and sometimes I end waiting a bit longer than I'd like in the waiting room, but I understand other patients have questions they want answers to, so I wait. His support staff have been great also, even the team members doing the stress testing! Randy

Everything I look for in a doctor--shows highest levels of concern, candor, and competence. I consider him the best doctor I've ever dealt with regardless of specialty. Wait times can be a little long if you're in a hurry to get back to work, but the level of care is simply top of the line in my opinion.

My experience was poor from the first visit through the last. The wait time was intolerable, and the office staff was rude and unhelpful. The cost for procedures was significantly more than other doctors in the area charge and I have spent hours trying to sort out the errors in my bill. Finally, the doctor completely forgot the purpose for my visit between the diagnostic procedure and the follow up. After tremendous expense and effort, I am still unsure about my heart health.

I have been a patient of Dr. Isaac since I was 35 (15+ years). I think he is an excellent cardiologist!! He now sees my sons and my husband as well. Highly intelligent and very knowledgeable. He listens and I think he truly cares about his patients. He explains what my disorders are, what they cause, and how the medicine works to treat them. His practice is very, very busy which can make wait times very long sometimes. For me, the wait is well worth the exceptional patient care he provides.

Brilliant, responsive, inspiring! After reviewing my monitor results, Dr I called late PM. He cleared appts. for next AM, to potentially implant a pacemaker for my low heart rate, multiple missed beats, and a congenital heart murmur. Dr. I. reviewed family health history, my dedicated work-out regimen, and successful results of extensive tests (incl. echo, EKG, and stress test), concluding no pacemaker was warranted! Impressive attention to detail and critical thinking to adjust course!

Office staff is disorganized, dishonest, and can't keep up with payments, fails to schedule test ordered by doctor. Wait time is 2-3 hours in front office, then another 45-60 minutes in waiting, finally when Dr. Isaac sees you, he spares about 5-7 minutes of his time, and leaves you clueless as to how your results turned out.

Dr. Issac is a great cardiologist but his wait time are intolerable. And it seems that they are just getting worse. He is thorough and extremely bright and has a terrific bedside manner. I just wish you didn't have to spend a half day waiting for an appointment. Its discouraging since i don't think there are many who are better!

Wait times are ridiculously long - 2 1/2 to 3 hours. No one, especially my 87 year old mother should have to wait this long. We are changing cardiologists.
