I have never had a more uncomfortable visit with a doctor. I went in with a wrist injury, and the expectation that I was going to get PT. He asked me FOUR times about my decision to work outside the home, implying over and over again that I'm "too busy" (I like my life - I never said I was too busy) and suggesting that my young children are suffering. He then examined my wrist, and sat way too closely. I pulled and scooted away until my chair was up against a wall and there was no where for me to go, and he kept pulling closer. He locked his legs around the outside of mine, until my knees were forced into his crotch. He unnecessarily examined both entire arms. My heart was POUNDING and he took no notice. He quickly injected me with a steroid without asking me, before I could protest (again, I thought I was there for PT). I had my coat on and was out the door before he could get the band-aid on. I left in tears. I have never felt so uncomfortable.
