Dr Keough Cares
I was greeted promptly and treated kindly and with attention when I had gotten poison ivy into my eyes. No long waits. Complete health history. Any delays were met with little “check ins”! My treatment was thorough effective and timely. I could hear the staff and Dr Keough interacting with other patients and it was professional, calm and with concern for the patients. Would go back to Atlanticare Hospital ER again should need arise! Excellent customer service!

Horrible Doctor, no compassion and totally negligent in providing care. My mom was taken to Mainland division Atlanticare Hosp today, she is 88 yrs old and had fallen at her nursing home and suffered a bad laceration on her head. It required sutures/staples and Dr. Keogh was the attending physician for her. From the moment we arrived she was treat sub par by this Dr., he was not compassionate, very cold and horrid bedside manner. Aside from that he sent her back to the nursing home where the fall happened. He did not treat her for a positive urine test for UTI ( which is probably why she fell in the first place), and dismissed it by saying it was NOT relevant. As for the very hard fall, he stated that she is fine and no reason to observe her and could not get us out of there fast enough. Stay away from this ER, very bad experience when this Dr. is on, I see there are other reviews that agree with me here...very sad how he treats his patients .

I wrote a negative review yesterday about how this Doctor allowed my wife to suffer in his emergency room. How she is diagnosed with Acute Intermittent Porphyria and treated properly many times by other Doctors in that same emergency room, this time treated as if she was an addict and didn't receive the care needed for her disease because he didn't know what the disease was! The Negative post didn't go up but a positive post I did after did. The AC press will publish these posts if you will not
