Outstanding Physician
My most recent visit was a follow up to my annual exam. As expected, Dr.Kim was prepared and did an excellent job of reporting on the results of testing and explaining my progress on health goals set for the preceding period of care. My results were impressive and I credit Dr. Kim' s planning and guidance for that outcome. I look forward to implementing his most recent suggestions for continuing my progress. He is always informed on the latest developments in an impressive array of health concerns. Dr Kim presents intelligence as a person and as a medical professional, concern for me as a patient and has a great sense of humor. I would recommend him to any friend or family member.

I just joined Dr. Kim’s practice and I have to say I am extremely pleased with my visit. He listened to all my concerns and took his time to explain to me the reasons for his treatment recommendations. Doesn’t rush through the appointment which is rare to find these days. He is very knowledgeable and explains things in an easy to understand manner. I felt he is an excellent doctor and That he is really concerned about my health and keeping me healthy and well!

While he is friendly and takes time to explain things, I would concur with the other review that he doesn't actually listen. He tells funny anecdotes, but they're canned stories that he's obviously told before. He was more interested in talking at you than having a conversation with you. He spoke for 30 minutes without me saying a word or asking me why something might be the case. I'm used to having more of a conversation with my health providers, so I'll have to find another PCP.

I chose Dr. John Kim as my new PCP due to high reviews here. I was very disappointed and depressed upon leaving. While he acted friendly, he did NOT want to listen to me, at all. If I tried to talk, he would quickly interrupt me and get back to talking and was not interested in what I had to say. It really was a disappointing waste of time in the end. When I went to make this appointment, he was just starting a 30 day vacation. Unfortunately I decided to wait and see him.
