2 stars because his staff is okay and wait times are low. One star if it was the doctor himself. He listens to a fair degree but communicates poorly. He will hear the fist few minutes of discussion but tunes out after he reaches a conclusion. He is certainly not inquisitive. He asks few questions of a patient. He offers little explanation of his diagnosis or prescribed medications which can lead to overlooked or undiscovered issues. If questioned about a diagnosis he can reply in an almost adversarial manner making a patient feel bad for questioning his conclusions. Slightly rolled his eyes on several occasions at questions that were presented. Additionally patients can no longer call directly to the office anymore. Calls are routed to a central call center which overloads or fails to pass along critical information. Staff said this is normal. I have had many doctors throughout my life that were much better. I would not recommend Dr. Kratzer to family or friends.
