Rude and inconsiderate!
Upon first visit he walked into the room with a fast-talking and inconsiderate approach to understanding the patients symptoms. I was told to bring all my records which I took the time to gather and even had a disc from a kidney ultrasound and he acted like he knew nothing about those. I asked him if he bothered to review my health records because his approach was not helpful. He rushed to say I needed a cystoscope, but didn’t bother to tell me he doesn’t even numb the patient, (as every other physician does) and the checkout receptionist told me he uses laughing gas. That’s totally ridiculous, and insurance doesn’t cover the cost of that, so he can charge you. He has the personality of a dictator and was in and out of the room in less than 10-minutes! Very ruthless doctor!! I will seek a concerned and compassionate urologist. I had one from the Midwest and will find one in Az. Choose wisely and be your own advocate!!

Amazing Doctor John Lin
Dr John LIn has been my urologist for the past 10 years, I have had 2 TURP successful procedures under his skilled hands and exceptional knowledge. My latest occurance was unexplained bleeding in my urine and he saw me immediately. He did 2 bladder scans in is office and prostrate exam. He set me up immediately with a CT Pelvis Scan and Cystoscopy in his office to rule out cancer. I was fortunate no cancer. I am thankful there are doctors such as Dr John Line out there that have the skills and knowledge to help us during a health crisis. I am thankful that Dr John Lin is my doctor. There is no one better in my opinion with his knowledge and skills. People can make their judgement on bed manners which is a judgement call. I prefer to focus a doctor that is skilled and can heal in the time of need, Thats Dr John Lin. Thank You Dr John Lin your service to the community is most appreciated. A most appreciated patient... your one of a kind. An amazing doctor.

I cannot believe the negative reviews I have read about Dr. John C. Lin.When my husband was bleeding from his bladder Dr. Lin saw him quickly and advised him of a plan of care. My husband had stopped bleeding and being stubborn decided there was no need to go back. I pleaded with him to no avail. He received a letter from Dr. Lin stating that if he didn’t want to see Dr. Lin that was fine , but he better see someone. I said to my husband, Who does that? What Dr. Takes the time and cares enough to send a letter like that?! My husband went back to him and we have Dr. Lin to thank for saving my husbands life! Dr. Lin is a very caring, thorough, thoughtful person. His front and back office people are also, friendly, courteous and very helpful. My husband is having new issues and has gone back to Dr Lin, we know he is in great hands! Denise C.

The worst urologist in town
This individual who maybe a heath care provider never learned bed side manners. I have never encountered a more arrogant, dismissive, and rude doctor in my life. I wrote an extensive detail of my experience with Lin that I don't want to repeat here again but now I have received a bill $557 out which I have tp pay $151 just for the privilege of talking to a rude arrogant man. No results or report of such "testing" were shared with me for which they are charging me this amount. I was suppose to come back for two subsequent appointments to actually test the urine flow, and when showed up on 2/16 I was turned away from his office because I was not ready to urinate for which I was never instructed. I therefore, cancelled my appointments and still receive a bill.

I consulted Dr. Lin regarding BPH and he was very clear after review of findings I needed a TURP, something I suspected but delayed for years. Wish I had gone to see him earlier. EVERYTHING about his medical practice, the staff, the surgery center...is outstanding. Dr. Lin was recommended by a family member who knew him through his hospital practice. An excellence recommendation and one I am glad to make. As a former healthcare CEO, I am discerning regarding medical practices and have only good things to say about my experience with Dr. Lin and his staff.

I went to Dr Lin for a Vasectomy, and I had a great experience. They explained everything that was happening, and ensured I was set up for successful recovery. Their entire staff was friendly and professional, and the procedure was done quickly, without issues. I was recommended Dr Lin by several friends, and will continue to recommend to others.

Dr. Lin is one of the most educated Dr's I've ever met. I had a vasectomy done 3 years ago and have had no problems at all with the procedure. Dr Lin explained the procedure in detail to me and made sure I knew what I was doing at my age of 36. I wish I could go to Dr Lin for everything like a family Dr. Thank you so much Dr Lin for the professional care I received.

I don't recommend Dr. Lin. He seems like a nice man but his practice is run like he has been sued in the past. I am an aging male with BPH ( enlarged Prostrate ). He wanted to preform a bladder scope procedure as part of his treatment but would not allow my wife to view the procedure. He said no one except he and his staff ( of women ) would be allowed in the room. I wanted my wife to view the results during the scope insertion and he refused. My memory is not what I would like and needed my wife to take notes for my help. This doctor is not to be trusted in my opinion. I don't know what is in his past but something has caused him to be over cautious to the point of concern. He also informed me he had preformed more UROLIFT'S then any other doctor in the area. When I expressed some concerns about the possibility of infection he stated that non of his patients had ever had any problems with the UROLIFT procedure. I honestly doubt that but I can't prove its false at this time.

I do NOT recommend him at all!! Extremely rude & didn't care about a word I had to say. He interrupted me about 8 times when I was telling him what was wrong & tried dismissing everything I had to say! Rushed me out of the room & didn't even make eye contact with me once or say hi how are you. Won't be going back! He did nothing. Waste of $40 now I remember why I stopped going to him years ago.

he is not professional at all, he did surgery when i did not need surgery just for the money. the after surgery with all of my issues would not see me so I had to go to another urologist to find out I did not need the surgery and he was totally wrong with what he did to me. do not see the ego powered person and never let him do surgery on you.

Made jokes while I'm on the table and he's doing his procedure and discussed religion. Pain after procedure and subsequent stent removal was beyond anything I've ever experienced and I've been through a lot. Would have rather kept the kidney stones. Didn't return phone calls made regarding rash, vomiting and fever for 24 hours. Ended up in the ER instead. ER doctor told me pain medication given to me might as well have been candy it was so worthless.

Dr. Lins bedside manner is horrendous. He ignores the fact you may be discomfort and doesnt even warn it may be discomfort till after the fact. I dont recommended dr. Lin as he wont describe or give explanation for his reasoning other then ive been doing this for years. I don't trust his professional opinion.

I went to my husband's last visit with Dr Lin. He was there about getting some kidney stones blasted. Dr Lin saw that his blood pressure was high and proceeded to tell him he was afraid he was going to die. He asked if he had a living will and told him to think about the young children he would be leaving behind. He is in his early 30's. After his lithotripsy the office scheduled an appointment for him which he did not attend and they charged us $25 for him missing it. Major over-scheduler. ????
