Tore the tendons and Ligaments in my left foot struggled with pain for a solid 2 years went to Dr. Mahoney and he recommended electro Shock therapy after 6 to 8 weeks all pain went away and I could walk again without pain also put me in physical therapy that was over 5 years ago and still pain free and if not for his treatment I don’t think I’d be able to work, walk and play like I do today. I’m having carpel tunnel surgery in the near future and I trust him as a surgeon that’s why I’m going back to him .

Put in wrong size knee replacement, did not adhere to tibia correctly and placed knee cap an inch above where it should have been. I couldn't bend my knee but to 23 degrees. My whole leg was swollen but he told me that was normal and would be like that for a year. I went back to him several times with complaints of pain and swelling. After a year and no relief, I went to another Orthopedic surgeon and he found all of the mistakes. Beware!!!

I found Dr.Mahoney to be condescending and at times arrogant. If given other choices I probably won't ever see him again nor would I recommend him. His skills I am not questioning I question his lack of care in preforming his job in

I would highly recommend him to all my family and friends, many of whom already see him. He has a very relaxed and professional demeanor. He has treated my ankle injury, hip injury and treats my current carpal tunnel syndrome. He will eventually do my surgery. I have been very satisfied with his care. His nurse is also very nice and professional.
