I thought the doctor gave me quality time and listened. I have questions as a follow up after thinking about the visit and don't quite know how to get these answered.

1. My arm was hurting for months and my primary care doctor says it’s tendonitis or bursitis and sends me to an orthopedist for a steroid shot.2. I see Dr. Matthews who says no shot, you have to do physical therapy first. He gives me a brace and tells me to wear it all the time. 3. I do 6 weeks of physical therapy, am feeling MUCH better, until my last week of therapy when the therapist ignores my pain and re-injures my arm.4. I see Dr. Matthews for follow up. He says “Why are you wearing that brace? It’s all wrong.” I tell him about the physical therapy debacle. He says not to bother going back. Asks me who referred me to that physical therapist. I say YOU DID. 5. He tells me he can do surgery, with no guarantee it will work. I say no, he says “then what do you want? You want the shot?” I decline and he tells me he can’t help me. I spent $490 in copays for doctors and PT, and the brace, waste hours of my time, and got zero help. He should refund every penny.
