This man is condescending, judgmental and has no bedside manners at all. I am new to the area and looking for a new provider. I walked out of his office in the middle of his questions in tears. An absolute horror of a doctor. I left 1 star because something had to be left.

Dr May is a thorough, caring, and very concerned doctor. We have used him for over 20 years and have found that sometimes he tends to overreact to some people standards, but he is not afraid to run appropriate test or make a referral. On several occasions his diagnosis has been very simple and spot on. My most recent visit was a virtual visit and as usual he spent whatever time it took to resolve my medical problem.

Dr May did not use his stethoscope or otiscope unless asked. Those are the most basic tools of an exam. I have lung disease, it's crucial that my doctors listen for wheezing. He would not check to see why I was anemic. He did not inform me when my epilepsy med levels were too high. I have changed physicians. I would not recommend this doctor.

Very disappointed! My mom needs home care and assisted living due to a broken arm. She needs help bathing, dressing and cleaning. She is developing bed sores now. Since Thursday, 24 August everyone has been trying to get a form filled from his staff to get her home health and assisted living and he is on leave. No one there will assist us. I have to take many days off work to assist my mom. We are in desperate need of home Heath and assisted living. She is 93 today and cannot enjoy it.

Thorough review of medical history at each visit. Very down to earth physician. Have had 3 routine exams, so cannot comment on urgent visits. Phone calls are answered by his assistant very quickly.

This was a horrible & I left & cried in the parking lot. He asked me what my biggest concern is, I said my anxiety & depression, he said "no what is your biggest health concern?", I paused & as he looked at me I realized what he meant "my weight?". He said "yes", I told him I was starting weight watchers & he didn't discuss it again &also didn't address my depression. He asked if I wanted a flu shot &forgot to give me one. The office does not treat ADHD, he referred me to a psychiatrist for it.

Dr. May is very knowledgeable and kind. However, he seems rushed when I visit him, and also seemed aggravated by the fact that I didn't have a specific complaint, even though my visits were for annual exams. My husband also had the same experience when visiting Dr. May for an annual exam. I've never had a sick visit with Dr. May, so I don't know how he is under those circumstances.
