I have been under Dr. McCarty’s care since January of 2022 once I reached CR. He is my transplant oncologist and in my opinion one of the best doctors in this field! I’ve done my research and his work ethic and dedication to his patients speak for itself. I feel like he is always looking to acquire more knowledge through research, he is compassionate and extremely thorough, and I honestly feel like my health is truly a priority. All of my concerns are valid and he manages to do all of this extensive work while having a sense of humor; What more could you ask for in a doctor? Thank you for being an amazing provider throughout my cancer journey.

Dr. McCarty spent more than adequate time talking with me about my disease & treatment options. I felt comfortable making the treatment decision. With 26 yrs of experience, he & his team of physicians & nurses are on top of my treatment. Dr. McCarty is a positive influence for me & I appreciate his in depth knowledge & experience in bone marrow cancers, diseases & treatment. I would definitely refer family & friends!

I had a bone marrow April 19, 2010 it was not so successful according to Dr McCarty. I had Hodgkin Lymphoma and I was in stage 4 and they just new my life was over. Dr. Denise Levatan at Baptist hospital in NC, worked until she found a cure. I thank God for her. I am sorry to inform Dr McCarty that his information was very wrong. He denied to see me ever again and he told Dr. Sleeper not to send to him again. He turned his back on me and I would never recommend him to anyone.
