Dr. John McClellan III, MD

I was a little unsure during my first visit. The wait time was long, but Dr. McClellan immediately seemed familiar with my ailment, and I was impressed by his knowledge. My second visit was via telehealth to go over imaging, and I was finally diagnosed with something after being dismissed by other doctors for many years. Such a relief!When I returned for my one-year follow-up, I was sure he was the doctor I'd been looking for. Dr. McClellan was realistic about my outlook and seemed interested in what things had worked for me in the past. I wish I'd gone and seen him years earlier.

My husband has required back surgery for over a year. He had another surgery which needed to be done and they told him to loose 45 pounds he lost 90! He is in extreme pain and it is starting to effect his neck. He has a poor quality of life because of the pain and lack of sleep due to he can not lay flat. They made him get another MRI his was a year old which is a waste of insurance money since it was not going to heal itself! Dr. McClellen said he would rush everything through insurance and get him scheduled for surgery, it still has not been submitted to insurance and it’s been 3 weeks. His assistant Becky is rude and uncaring. She said it could take another 3 weeks to submit. My husband asked to speak to Dr. McClellen and she said he does not talk to patients! That is a horrible dr that promises to rush it and does not follow up on the promise and he not talk to you on the phone. We have lost all faith and trust in this office. How uncaring can you be to treat someone this way!

3 month post op appointment from TLIF with iliac anchor. 19 1/2 years of pain and I feel amazing now. Dr. McClellan has always explained everything to a T. He’s understanding and extremely kind. Thank you for giving me my life back!

John is empathetic but direct. He is very thorough in terms of answering questions and providing needed information.

Dr. McClellan was very clear in his diagnosis and suggestions on further treatment. He also takes the time needed to listen to questions and concerns of the patient.

Took his time to make sure all my questions were answered, we even discussed ongoing problems that weren’t part of the initial visit.

This is my second spine fusion surgery by Dr McClellan. Both have been 100% successful, leaving me pain free immediately after the surgery. I would definitely recommend him for anyone looking for pain relief.

Dr. McClellan is clearly very knowledgeable, experienced, takes a conservative approach to treatment, and wants what is best for his patients. He is personable, compassionate, collaborative and open to endless questions and discussion. He can be very frank, which some of us need in order to be motivated to make needed changes! He can share a laugh, and I believe, truly enjoys his work and his patients. My husband and I are eternally grateful for his care and service to me and others.

It was a great visit. He listened to what I had to say and what my feelings were. He was great to me.

I had a little wait time, but that was ok. The Dr was very nice and was concerned about relieving my pain. 10/10 would recommend.

Professional. John spent enough time with my wife and I so that both of understood my situation. He ordered tests to be done at my local hospital and then we will visit by using DUO on my phone, saving another trip to Omaha.

Dr. McClellan was professional, pleasant, and very informative. Was receptive to questions and took the time necessary for a full evaluation/explanation of my issues.

Dr. McClellan is very professional with down to earth layman's terms that any one can understand.

Dr. McClellan was able to sort out my back problems from other health issues. He compared former images to present day and explained it well, using understandable examples.

Dr. McClellan is a caring, compassionate doctor. He really is trying to get to the bottom of my leg pain after surgery. I know he’ll pursue it till he comes up with an answer.

Dr. McClellan was great! He is full of knowledge and really took a good amount of time with me during my visit. He had several suggestions and also explained what I will be facing in the future. I’m very pleased with him being my referral.

I heard Dr. MccClellan was an excellent doctor. My first visit confirmed what I had heard. He is thorough and seems very knowledgeable. Takes the time to make you feel comfortable, then explains everything in detail. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Outstanding doctor. BUT. Not acceptable to wait 2 hours to be seen. Also not acceptable to wait -almost 3 months for a appointment.
