Dr. John McMahon, DO

I never had a cortisone shot into my hip bursa. I was very nervous. Needles and I don't get a long! Dr McMahon came highly recommended and did not disappoint. He was very personable and explained what he was doing. He used an ultrasound to get the best place to put the medicine, gave me a numbing injection which was not bad at all, and then the cortisone shot. I didn't feel the shot so much as the medication going in- which was a little pressure, but not pain. Before I knew it, he was done! Now, I'm waiting for it to kick in so I can do some strengthening exercises.

Not only a great professional in all aspects but great bedside manner. Extremely helpful for current and future suggestions on moving forward.

I have been seeing Dr McMahon for quite some time. He treated me w steroid injections for my hips initially and most recently for my left shoulder. Hands down he is one of the best! Extremely knowledgeable, caring and has a great sense of humor. I would not hesitate to recommend him!! The entire practice consists of doctors who are the best in the field in my opinion!

Dr McMahon gives me shots in my ankle every 3 months to keep me walking he does a really good job and checks him with me every time, to make sure it's still working, very pleasant bedside manner. I would recommend him to everyone!
