Dr. McMahon is very compassionate and thorough with his care. He takes time to explain and make sure you understand what he is saying. I’m very comfortable having him involved in my care.

Wonderful doctor and friendly. Listened to me more than any other doctor. I have no idea how long I would have went along having endometriosis without knowing it and having a pelvis in pain. My only regret is that by the time it is time for me to have a baby he might be retired!

I had the terrible experience ever with Dr. McMahon. I was bleeding during my menopause and he recommended a Hysteroscopy surgery after reading my first ultrasound. After the surgery he assured me that he removed some polyps and the biopsy came back negative. He also asked me to come for an transvaginal ultrasound to check again. After reading the second ultrasound he told me that he saw some abnormal growths and because is very risky he needs to perform an hysterectomy. I asked him why he did not remove those growths during the hysteroscopy surgery and he said he did not see those. How can this be possible ? This is very unprofessional and it is very obvious he does not know what he is doing. I decided to ask for second opinion because I do not trust Dr. McMahon. But this time a second opinion will be outside Helena. I am very disappointed and I do not recommend ever anybody to go visit Dr. McMahon.

I went in to see Dr. Mcmahon for a pregnancy diagnosed at the Urgent Care. I had an Ectopic pregnancy. After sitting down with him and going over my options it was decided that surgery was my best bet. I was scheduled for surgery the following day. Dr. McMahon made sure I was comfortable and the surgery was a breeze. It was the most horrible thing I have ever had to go through, and I know it would have been much worse without Dr. Mcmahon and his team. They saved my life, I owe them the world.

Just after the ultrasound found an ectopic pregnancy Dr. McMahon told me I was "over reacting and have an over dramatic personality." -that it wasn't ectopic. Well, it really was in the tube. I was referred to the oncologist for a dose of methotrexate to treat the tubal pregnancy. When I called for follow up instructions I could hear the nurse ask him and bascially what I overheard was he didn't want me as a patient. That was evident in the following weeks as I continued care for the tubal.
