I read lots of good reviews of Dr Miller. I wish I could do the same, but I was disappointed on my Mom’s appointment with the doctor. He didn’t seem to know my Mom’s medical history, didn’t seem looking at the images of the eyes took by his office before seeing my Mom and he even put right eye in my Mom’s chart notes while the problem is with her left eye. He was in a hurry, didn’t have time to listen to the patient. Won’t definitely refer anyone to him. Sorry…

Received treatment and follow up in a timely manner. Knowledgeable and professional, yet very personable at the same time. Highly recommend Dr. Miller and his staff.

Maybe he was having a bad day, but he never even looked at me or introduced himself when he came into the room!!!! The Fellow that in before him was outstanding! Personable and very informative!! I was appalled when I inquired about the loss of vision in my eye. His response was “ everybody has to have something “! I am a retired professional and shocked by his demeanor!!!!

He is the best there is

Dr. Miller listened to all my concerns and addressed them. He made me feel very confident in him and comfortable having him do my eye surgeries ( surgeries I have put off because I couldn’t find a surgeon who wasn’t arrogant and dismissive of me and my concerns). Finally found a doctor who is both confident and caring.

Dr. Miller identified a new issue with my eye, Identified the intervention, and found me an equally great provider.

When my cataract lens moved off my left eye, my local Ophthalmologist, Dr. Lally, recommended one doctor - Dr. John Miller. I was incredibly impressed from beginning to end with the entire staff, and especially, Dr. Miller. His professionalism and down-to-earth manner was exemplary and appreciated. Most of all, I can now see 20/30 in that eye. My gratitude and thanks to all.

After being shuffled around locally for 6 months trying to get a care plan to resolve my vision problems, Dr. Miller reviewed all of his tests done the day we were there, came up with a maximum 3-month plan to improve my vision, and did the first treatment while we were in Boston the same day. The next morning, my vision was already improving. He also diagnosed a problem with the other eye that no one had noticed this far, and it is now on watch for when treatment is necessary. Extremely thgrough!

Dr. John Miller saw me less than 24 hours after I called his office concerned about my risk for a retinal detachment in my left eye after I suddenly saw a net of white lines in part of my visual field. I was very worried because I have very poor vision in the right eye. Dr. Miller did a very thorough examination, carefully reviewed my history, reassured me that my retina was OK, and described what symptoms would be reasons for another emergency visit. I felt that my eyes were in good hands - that I wasn't alone with my problem, and if I ever needed surgery or a laser procedure, this was the man to do it. I recommend Dr. John Miller to anyone who has a retina problem or is at risk for one, He's an outstanding surgeon and a caring human being,
