Condescending
This experience needs to be known. I recently tested positive for an auto-immune genetic condition with a specialist. I wanted to find out if I had been sick with Covid over the holidays so I could know my immunity level. I am already vaccinated but had felt ill. I called TFM and was told that a Covid antibody test would show "recent infection". When I arrived for my appointment, Dr. Milspaugh was patronizing and acted like I was ridiculous for listening to the staff when I had called. He spoke of the booster and I asked questions about antibodies and the test. He told me that he was tired of arguing with patients about Covid and that he was ready to work at Lowes. I specifically told him about my genetic diagnosis. I cancelled the blood test when the nurse came in. I then received a letter that I was no longer able to be seen at the practice.

I saw Dr. Millspaugh as my primary care physician for close to 15 years. Overall, he was a great doctor. However, as the years went on, I noticed his bedside manner and ability to really listen to my concerns were beginning to fail greatly. The final straw for me was last summer (2020) when I was in the midst of a major depressive episode. I asked for a referral to a psychiatrist after having been under his care for my mental health for 4 years, since I felt a specialist would be able to help me find the best medicines. I also told him of my concerns that I may have ADHD. He not only laughed at the idea that a 28y/o woman could have undiagnosed ADHD, he refused to refer me to a psychiatrist - saying that he could just as easily prescribe my meds. I was also about to embark on a health program to lose weight the following week (which I have lost 70 pounds from), and when telling him this, he simply told me that I didn't need to diet, I should just not eat for 2 wks and I'd be fine.

I've been seeing Dr. Millspaugh for more years than I can count at this point. He has always been very attentive to me. He is very knowledgeable and does not just order more medication unless he feels it is absolutely needed. He listens to me. His staff has always been great to me. I have also seen his two PA's Marc and Tim and they are great also.

A doctor’s staff greatly impacts their future business. If you can get past the front desk’s uncaring, unhelpful attitude, your doctor’s appointment would be pleasant. I would encourage Dr. Millspaugh to use his patient reviews as a teaching moment for his staff. When seeing a doctor, added stress from the staff is not the treatment goal.

I have had doctors all over the USA and Dr Millspaugh is the best I have ever had. My wife and I have been served by TFM very well for about 15 years. He never rushes in the exam room and answers every question completely. His staff is very professional and a joy to deal with. I highly recommend TFM for their outstanding service.

If your looking for the WORLDS WORST DOCTOR!!!! You found him ! I would never recommend going to this doctor. I would not even recommend him to my worst enemy. He did not treat me kindly he seem to be in a rush the whole time as I was a bother to him. When I told him my problems and my concerns he acted like he didn't care but instead he just want to criticize me the whole time . I had my child with me and he got very annoyed with her, and a few other of the staff members got annoyed with her .

This Dr is AWESOME! I have never had such a awesome Dr. as him. In my eyes he walks on water. I have been to him several times and he never disappoints. I had a numb neck for yrs and he fixed it. I was suffering with my leg and sciatica nerve( he fixed it.) Had other issues and he knows his stuff and then some. I love his bedside manners and his concern. I will and would recommend him to anyone. BEST Dr. I have EVER had and I have seen plenty. Would love to tell the world how AWESOME he is. TY

Although Dr. Millspaugh is professional, friendly and competent, his office staff makes the patient experience unpleasant. The nurse got very defensive and flustered when I asked a question about my care, and then went so far as to say I was being rude and suggest I find another provider. Honestly, if you work in a doctor's office, a patient should be able to make sure they are receiving good care without it hurting your feelings.
