Dr. William Mitcherling is hands down a true professional, kind, gentle, knows exactly what he is doing, compassionate, comforting, trust worthy and a highly intelligent Surgical Dentist. Not only do I feel this way, but believe this Mitcherling and Mitcherling is known all around Maryland with great recommendations!!! It speaks for itself. Dr. William Mitcherling has been there for me and my family for years and Dr. W Mitcherling was there for me during the COVID emergency, such a professional!! His staff is professional and respectful. It's a total blessing from God to have two incredibly KIND, intelligent doctors. Thanks Doc's and staff from you appreciative patient Tammy Johnson.

They charged unnecessary consultation fees by delaying the service I needed immediately due to infection in two molars. Should have rendered service while on antibiotics from dentist and endodontist, but made me wait till the infection recurred, and scheduled consultation when I needed extraction asap in the upper molar. Tried to play the waiting game again in Sept on lower molar. I switched surgeons. This delay is unethical, could have killed me. All in the name of fees. Nice doctor though.

Dr. Mitcherling saved my husband's life. His treatment of an abscessed tooth ultimately led to the discovery that my husband had cancer. Treatment has caused tooth problem and I have been calling Dr. Mitcherling for weeks to get a dentist recommendation. The receptionist is horrible. She says, "call back" or "he's not in". Can't she take a message? Dr. Mitcherling deserves better. This woman is horrid. Doctor is a saint. Staff I Perry Hall needs to consider retirement.

I needed my wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Mitcherling saw me on a Saturday... five days later I was in surgery. I had no complications. He is, in a word, terrific! I love that he’s been practicing a long time and knows his stuff. His office staff (Northern Pkwy) were pleasant and professional too. Another reviewer gave the doctor one star for that, which is very unfair. I highly recommend Dr. Mitcherling. Trust me! I’m a nurse!

I had some really bad wisdom teeth that needed to be removed, on short notice because we were moving out of state. I also had an extreme fear of needles, which was relevant because there was to be IV sedation. They did a consult before and after, and the actual surgery was performed at the Towson Surgical Center. Surgery's never pleasant, especially with anxiety, but they did everything possible to make it as painless as possible, and my experience was extremely good.

(This is for the Baltimore office): Staff is not polite at all. Especially the elderly woman behind the window is very rude! She needs to learn to be more friendly to patients or find another job!

This guy really knows his stuff. He is a complete package that includes confidence, comfort, humor and most importantly experience. He removed two wisdom teeth and a cyst. I don't have any pain at all. The stitches he put in for the cyst removal are slightly uncomfortable but that's to be expected. I had surgery at 12:30 p.m. on 12/31. It's 6:15 p.m. on 1/1 and I feel pretty good. There was no gauze that was needed and I didn't have any swelling. Thanks Dr. John. -Donnell Noble
