Rude and dismissive.
Prescribed me a medication that I was intolerant to due to a sensitivity to one of the ingredients. He made me feel like I was crazy, until I did my own research and realized I have contraindications for medication. His knowledge is limited beyond his area of expertise, which is a problem because many people have other conditions that impact the GI. He doesn't know how to speak with patients or hear what they are saying.

Very rude and unprofessional
This dr was rude and very unprofessional, after his office called me and asked to come in earlier then my appointment was,I agreed even thou I could not drive due to knee operation 3 weeks before I also had to have my wife rearrange her schedule to accommodate this dr because he had to leave early.as soon as I sat down I could tell he was in a rush to leave.he treated me like a child was rude and condescending, talked down to me and dismissed my claims of pain and discomfort, rolled his eyes like a child and stared at his phone.stoped home to ask why he was being rude and dismissive of my problems, stopped him a second time and asked again why I was being treated as I was.I got up told him how I felt and walked out,the pain in my side was easier to deal with then this pain in my a s dr!!!stay away staff and dr are rude and unhelpful, office is dirty, depressing and falling apart!!!!find another dr and office!!!

Very Caring Doctor
I had a first visit with Dr. Morton yesterday. I came to him after seeing many different doctors about my issues. He was pleasant, caring, respectful and attentive. He spent over a half hour just talking to me about my condition. He gave me some very helpful information about lifestyle changes and also the name of a gastroenterologist surgeon. He went through the records that I brought to him. Told me of a few tests I would probably need. He even telephoned me later that evening to tell me that he found one of the tests he was looking for in that paperwork. He didn’t want me to have to repeat it since I already had it. I was very impressed that a doctor would take the time to go through my records and call me at 8:30 in the evening after leaving his office. In todays world, it’s nice to know there are truly doctors who care about their patients. Thank you Dr. Morton for your kindness. It was truly appreciated!

This guy stinks & has a horrible bedside manner and talks down to the patient. Very rude condescending doctor that explains nothing nor lets the patient talk!! Stay away from this guy and even that whole practice “associates in gastroenterology” nearly every doctor there has BAD reviews!!

I had an abdominal ultrasound test done on December 3, 2020, that was prescribed by Dr. Morton. I am still waiting for Dr. Morton to let me know what my test results mean. Today is January 4, 2021. When he called previously about blood tests results, after I contacted his office, he did not identify who was calling, and he did not come up on caller ID as Dr. Morton, he became belligerent because we thought he was a spam calls that we get at least 10 times a day and we where not very receptive to what we thought was a spam call. He is the only doctor that has not identified himself when he calls our home and he has not given me his diagnosis of my tests as of this date.

I have been treated by Dr. John Morton since 2016 and I am completely satisfied with his care. He is thorough, a good teacher, and has a great 'bedside manner.' His office staff is efficient and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Morton without hesitation. Dennis J Crowley

Honestly, not sure what all the hype is about with this guy. I saw Dr. Morton due to some GI complications from autoimmune disease and found him very condescending, short and snide. When you are speaking his says things like "yeah ...yeah...just trying to keep up with what you are saying.." (implying you are a hypochondriac nut by listing your required health background as a new patient) and "take a breath" (this is something psycho doctors love to say) - Bottom line, some people have a health history and that is important. He didn't want to listen, just pushed ppi's and does the 'come back in 6 weeks' routine. Not a good doctor if you ask me, just a pill jockey or should I say 'delicate genius' for the Seinfeld fans. I feel it is important to share my experience because people truly suffer with GI conditions and not all doctors are created equal....keep looking.

Several GI concerns led me to Dr. Morton. He was patient, knowledgeable, and took my concerns seriously. I needed an endoscopy and colonscopy to determine the situation. Dr. Morton was gentle and compassionate and even made sure my head and hair were in a comfortable position prior to full sedation and starting the procedure. My procedure was at Hanover Endoscopy center. Nurse Erich, Anesthesiologist Dr. Ghosh, and all of the staff were truly wonderful and so compassionate and caring. As a prior early stage breast cancer survivor who has had a lot of unpleasant procedures and surgeries, I know good phlebotomy and excellent care from the opposite. I was very impressed with Dr. Morton and the team at the endoscopy center.

Dr. Morton is the most kind understanding doctor. He listens. I have had so many issues and he addresses each one. If he does not have an answer he directs to another doctor regarding your other issues. I have been seeing him for about 9 years. He i s #1 in my book. Would not see anyone other than Dr.Morton.
