Dr. John Mowbray
I saw Dr. Mowbray for my second broken wrist. He also took care of me 14 years ago when I had my first broken wrist (other arm). He is one of the kindest, most compassionate doctors I’ve ever been to. He really listens to his patients and cares about what they have to say.

Awesome
Dr Mowbray has a very calm way of explaining things. I fell and broke my wrist (badly). He took time to calm my extreme anxiety about the surgery. After the surgery and recovery I had a number of other appointments with Dr Mowbray and was treated in the same caring manner. I can’t praise the treatment I received highly enough

Great Doctor!
Dr. Mowbray is not only great in his field, he also has excellent bedside manner. I went to Dr. Mowbray w/a TFCC tear & not only did he treat my injury without surgery or injections, he also had the insight to bring to my attention that I may have an underlying connective tissue disorder that was slowing the healing process. In addition, I also experienced a re-injury during my treatment w/Dr. Mowbray, which further delayed the healing process. Dr. Mowbray was patient, understanding & we are on track to getting my wrist back to 100%. I went to a specialist & found I do have a connective tissue disorder. I’d had symptoms my entire life & Dr. Mowbray picked up on this right away. He truly cares about his patient’s overall wellbeing & takes a conservative approach in getting you healed. His assistant, Casey, is as good as they come. Always on top of every detail & practices excellent communication skills. If you want a Dr. who truly cares & is willing to put the time in, this is your guy.

Highly recommend Dr Mowbray
In August of last year I tripped and caught myself with my right hand. The pain in my hand was searing! Of course it was on a Friday night so I went to urgent care on Saturday where they took x-rays and told me it was not broken. I asked them if they were sure because I’ve never felt that much pain before and they gave me a snarky comment about I should be happy that it wasn’t broken. The following Wednesday I couldn’t take the pain anymore and went to Resurgens to get a second opinion. Dr. Mowbray took several x-rays and took the time to show me on the x-rays that I broke both my fourth AND fifth metacarpals! He took the time to explain that I would be in a soft cast until the swelling went down. Then I would be in a hard cast for eight weeks. There was also damage to my tendons, but following his directions and wearing the splint I was able to avoid surgery. I really appreciated easygoing demeanor and the time he took with me. I would highly recommend!
