Right Knee Replacement, follow up PT
Dr. Nolan and his staff were outstanding in their care and support for my procedure. The facility and visits leading up to the operation and follow up visits ere all confident building, informative and lead to great results. The PT Staff at Mercer Bucks Orthopedics was really on the ball, aggressive in my recovery and very pleasant to work with. Dr. Nolan's staff, the receptionists, his assistant, Dr. Dan and Holly his executive coordinator were all integral facets of a great team working on my behalf. I thank them all guiding me from a painful, bone on bone condition to working and playing golf again. I can not thank them enough!!!

I was very pleased with Dr. John Nolan and the total knee replacement procedure that he performed. I interviewed doctors from three practices before deciding to go with Mercer Bucks Orthopaedics. Dr. Nolan listened to my concerns and, more importantly, he 'heard' me as a partner in my own health care. I highly recommend Dr. Nolan and his colleague Dr. David Eingorn for orthopaedic care.

Hip replacement
I have had both my hips replaced in the past 6 years by Dr. Nolan. I was amazed after the first time at how fast my recovery progressed. I felt better within a week of the surgery. I had my other hip replaced a month ago and am almost completely pain free already. Great surgeon and excellent staff.

Professional & Friendly
Dr. Nolan performed right knee replacement December 2019 and my left December 2022. Initially my right knee then 3 years later to my left knee. My surgery and recovery went very well in both cases. Love Dr. Nolan and would highly recommend him to anyone considering knee surgery or replacement. Dr. Nolan is like family. The staff at Mercer Bucks Orthopaedics are truly exceptional people. Thank you all!

Great Service
I was well treated by Dr. Nolan and his whole staff, especially therapist Tricia Witterkind. During my post surgery, Ms. Tricia, assisted me in performing basic movements on the surgical knee. They took care of me from the start of surgery till the end of the surgery. Prior to my knee surgery, Dr. Nolan's team made me feel comfortable and settle to go through the surgery.

Surgery was late September. Excellent communication leading up to the surgery. All staff were professional and friendly both before and after the surgery. My outcome and recovery couldn’t have gone better. I would highly recommend both Dr. Nolan and Mercer Bucks Orthopedics.

Thank you Dr. Nolan
I admit to a degree of of uncertainty prior to my total knee replacement. Despite the fact that it can be done as outpatient surgery, it is still a major procedure. The staff at Mercer Bucks Orthopedics and Dr. Nolan in particular amswered all my questions (and my wife's questions too) and helped me make the decision that was right for me. Dr. Nolan was professional in his interaction with me and his qualifications are impeccable. I am well on my way to a complete recovery and I recommend a visit to Dr. Nolan to anyone in need of orthopedic care. I hope that your experience with Mercer Bucks orthopedics and with Dr. Nolan in particular is as positive as mine was. Patrick

Dr. Nolan replaced my right hip on 10/19/21 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital and everything went very well. I want to thank Dr. Nolan and all his staff for a job well done. The home care I received did a excellent job in showing me the exercises I needed to do for my hip replacement. I was going up and down 14 steps six days after surgery. In less than four weeks I was waking on my own. I would highly recommend Dr. Nolan and his staff. And thank you Holly.

Excellent surgeon. I was in constant pain when walking. A friend recommend that I see Dr. Nolan. After a brief examination and x-ray showing that my right hip was bone on bone, we immediately scheduled a hip replacement. After the operation, I was walking with assistance after a few hours and got rid of my walker after two weeks of physical therapy and used a cane for awhile. Driving after 3 weeks since it was the right hip. I was walking 2 miles with no pain after 2 months. I am 85 years old, but physically very active.

Had successful outpatient total hip replacement by Dr. Nolan 7 weeks ago He and his staff, especially Holly, were easy to talk with, called back when I had questions and were excellent pre and post surgery and follow-up.. Outpatient is not for everyone, but gets one walking within just a few hours after surgery and home that afternoon. Felicia, nurse and Jenna, PT at the Mercer outpatient surgery center were friendly and assisted me during the initial recovery. The home health PT, Glen, from St Marks home care agency was excellent and came to the house just two days after surgery and continued for two weeks, gave me the needed exercises. I highly recommend Dr. Nolan and his team for hip replacement.

I had knee replacement surgery with Dr. John Nolan Jr. about 2 months ago. Surgery went very well. My recovery was exceptional. Mercer Bucks Orthopaedics really took care of me during the process from initial visit to surgery and discharge approximately two (2) months after surgery. I would recommend both MBO and Dr. Nolan to anyone. Outstanding surgeon and very very friendly staff. I was treated very well by all. Thank you MBO and you, Dr. Nolan. P.S. I feel great!

By way of introduction my name is Barbara O'Brien and I would like to acknowledge the great care I received from Dr. John Nolan and his staff. Knee replacements performed by Dr. Nolan in February and June of this year have afforded me mobility and comfort that I have not experienced in many years. I am 86 and avoided surgery for as long as possible choosing to be treated by injections and cortisone. My knees were "shot" but my concern was going under anesthesia at my age. When I found out a spinal could be done I was ready. Dr. Nolan with his expertise has changed my life. In addition to the surgery. with his recommendation, I have been doing Physical Therapy with Mercer Bucks Orthopedics. Here again the service and staff have been exemplary. Thank you Dr. Nolan and staff, without any hesitation, if asked, I will give your office my highest recommendation.
