Dr. John P Short, MD

I was extremely dizzy and fell at my home. I have a pacemaker so right away they took me back for an EKG. I was checked thoroughly and felt confident in Dr. Short and all his staff. The Urgent Care (St. Andrews Rd) has been my 'safe place' to go for emergencies. I can't thank them enough for their 'above and beyond' excellence. Several years back I went into severe anaphylaxis (tick bite). I drove myself, had my daughter on the phone, and was hardly able to breathe when I arrived. I was frightened and panicked. I was quickly put in a wheelchair, given an injection and medicine through IV. Two doctors stayed by my side, held my hand, talked to me, keeping me calm and watched my reaction dissipate. Those folks SAVED MY LIFE that night! I wish I knew the names of those doctors. The entire staff show kindness, compassion, and concern for their patients! When I first meeting Dr.Shorts is very respectful he excellently by caring for each one of his patients. He listen to my concerns about my chronic pain. Very clean office and the staff are extremely friendly. I couldn’t ask for better Dr. like you.

Excellent care

Absolutely awful office. They misdiagnosed me with pink eye when I was developing an allergy and gave me eye drops that hurt my eyes so much I had to be prescribed steroids by an optometrist. Then the office double charged me TWICE and threatened to send me to collections after they had already deposited my payment. They out source their billing and don't tell the billing company once you have paid. They refuse to work with me when I called about the billing.
