My son was diagnosed with epilepsy. We absolutely LOVE Dr. Parrott. He is a great neurologist and took time with us to explain everything.

I took my wife in to see Dr. Parrott today. Her issue is a compression fracture of the T-7 Vertabrae. Things started of well enough but it became obvious very quickly that Dr. Parrott did not want my wife or I to speak. The more information we tried to give the more agitated he became. At one point when my wife asked to have and MRI of her cervical as well he asked where does it hurt? she started to explain he said again I ASKED YOU WHERE DOES IT HURT!!!!? Is it your mid-back??? my wife said yes but....at this pointhe thundered answer my question or I will leave the room!!! She tried to tell him she had cervical trouble in the past he was not interested and totally dismissive. She told him of a stenosis issue or tried to oh Iguess YOU know everything!!!! He screamed....I stepped in and said wait a minute she is trying to tell you something at that point he stood up and said I've had enough my wife said we're leaving!!!! My wife in level 10 pain was treated wqorse than a dog!!!!

Dr John T Parrott is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. He explained exactly what my surgery was about to repair my spine also neck fusion no rudeness ever went to him for years recommended him to family and friends and they had no issues either I'm sorry hes not in Columbia any more wish he would come back

In over 60 yrs of seeing many doctors for multiple issues, I have NEVER been treated with with such disdain and disrespect by ANYONE in the medical profession. I was totally amazed as I calmly observed this so-called 'Doctor', work himself up to a state of near rage, because I didn't 'recollect' him allegedly answering some questions I had, concerning what could or could not be done surgically, to correct my ruined spine.

I would not recommend this Doctor! This man is one of the rudest Doctors I have ever encountered. I was in the room with him for maybe 20 minutes and wanted to leave after the first 2. He was not willing to even look at my past medical records that he had immediate access to. He couldn't tell me why I was experiencing back pain and then proceeded to aggressively try to sell me his surgery and stimulation device without giving me any professional opinion of why I have back pain.
