Dr. John-Paul Pham, MD

We were referred to Dr. Pham by our nephrologist Dr. Chataut for a 2nd opinion. My dad was under the care of Baptist Heart and he had a very weak heart with a lot of heart artery blockages. We were told nothing could be done except to go to hospice. Dr. Pham was able to not only open up all of my dad's blockages but also recover my dad's heart strength back to normal. He is so kind and listens to us and has the best bedside manner of any doctor that we know. We only see him in the office and he is always the one to return our phone calls not a PA or nurse practitioner. Plus his office staff is the best in the city; when you call you always get a person to pick up and they genuinely care about you. My dad continues to do well. Thank you, Dr. Pham.

Too young. Too optimistic. Wish he would take cases more seriously. I wish I had a Time Machine so I could go back in time and find a more capable cardiologist.

Find someone more experienced.

70 yo here - have seen a few doctors in my lifetime... In my opinion, this young man is the most down-to- earth, personable, logical, thorough, smart, understanding doctor I have ever met or heard of. He has shown and taken actions of concern for my health to see that care is handled in a timely manner. He always reviews, asks questions, listens, asks more questions, answers questions, clarifies information and makes sure I understand. This man is a professional that actually sits down face-to-face discuss, explain, & review & follow-up thoroughly. I consider myself fortunate to be in his care.

Knowledgeable,explained everything in layman terms was very reassuring and confident at what the outcome of tests would be.

Dr. Pham came in to provide a second opinion on my fathers condition. It did not take long to realize that we were in good hands. He came in prepared, knew all my fathers details, spent lots of time reviewing his information and had a plan. He was very easy for us to trust because he listened and provided clear answers to all our questions. He moves quickly to get things in place and has a great bedside manner.

I like this new office much better than his old practice! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I found him on my own after he moved no thanks to his previous office. His appointments are quick and so happy I followed him!

This Doctor is not only skilled, he is kind and caring. I would, without reservation, refer my loved ones - or go to him myself -for Cardiac care. The staff in his office, as well as his partner (Dr Ahmed) are also great to work with.
