Did he mean to misgender me right before surgery?
I give this guy a middle of the road review out of the goodness of my heart. He seemed nice but I can't tell if he meant to misgender me right before I was put under for gender affirming surgery. It was confusing and uncomfortable and I hope unintentional, so others don't have to go through that right before gender affirming surgery. Affirming is literally in the name, so you'd think it would be an affirming experience. All signs point to him not possibly being that careless but I hope so.

Dr. Penner provided anesthesia during my daughter's surgery. Prior to surgery, he spent some time to discuss expectations. He could not have been more helpful and more accurate. She had no problems with anesthesia from her procedure and Dr. Penner gave that extra support she needed prior to surgery. We are thankful for his care.
