Dr. John Pitts, MD

Dr. Pitts is the most intuitive doctor that I have ever met. He is very kind, listens, and has an outstanding bedside manner while being competent and confident in what he does. He has helped me get back to my active lifestyle, and he has helped me on numerous occasions. Dr. Pitts is the real deal. You are in the best hands in the United States when you trust him. I highly recommend him to help you with your orthopedic needs.

Dr. Pitts is very skilled in what he does. I was very nervous about the procedure but him and his staff put me at ease. He is very gentle and kind with great bedside manner. I would not hesitate to recommend him. After the procedure my pain dropped significantly.

He is a reassuring and engaging smooth talker who gives me the confidence to listen to his advice. He was concerned and tried to be helpful post-procedure when I was quite nauseated, but the nausea persisted for about a week as a component of vertigo that also made the first week pretty challenging. A call on day 7 (a Tuesday) took about 8 hours to get answered, but he did call me back and offered advice.

Dr Pitts always makes me feel comfortable, understood and well cared for. I have benefitted from every procedure from my neck, to shoulder, elbow, low back, hips and knees. I am so very confident in his care and appreciate the entire Regenexx staff.

Amazingly talented doctor. He did my posterior cervical treatment with stem cells. I walked into that clinic is severe occipital pain. During my procedure, he injected plasma around the nerve. Three days after, my severe pain I was dealing with for 15mths was gone.

All he does is make false claims about PRP

I had a stem cell procedure in my lumbar spine and hip. Dr. Pitts, all of the nurses, the young women who drew blood, the front desk, were all very professional, friendly and caring. I have had other procedures done by Dr. Pitts with 100% success. I will definitely return if and when needed.

From front to back, Dr. John Pitts provided the best medical care I've experienced (at 62, I've had way too much experience by way of comparison). The initial visit was incredibly thorough including both history, lifestyle and full biomechanical evaluation before getting into my knee issues. Following evaluation, he discussed my options and the prognosis associated with each one. The results of his treatment have been life changing - I haven't had mobility this good since my teen years. Since doing my knees, Dr. Pitts has worked on other problem areas lower spine, hips and most recently shoulders. The shoulders appear to be following a similar recovery trajectory and I look forward to getting back to full activity within weeks. Beyond Dr. Pitts, the staff at Centeno-Schultz Clinic is the bar I use to evaluate any medical clinic. The service is not only efficient and well-run, it is friendly and enthusiastic.

The entire staff at Centeno-Schultz is courteous, professional, and caring. The clinic is clean and comfortable. As an out-of-town patient, they made my arrangements for the procedure headache-free. I am a wheelchair user and the staff went over and above to assist me with transfers, dressing, and other accessibility/personal needs. Dr. Pitts is an excellent physician with superb bedside manner. I have had significant/improved functioning results with my PRP procedure! I would highly recommend Dr. Pitts!

I have never seen such an arrogant doctor in my life! More interested in himself than my chronic condition. Acted extremely disinterested in my questions, turned his back to me as if to say "lady don't bug me". Save your medical dollars there are other medical practices that offer PRP and stem cell therapy with much more compassionate doctors and are much less expensive too! Everyone in the office acts like commission salespeople. Nobody cares if the procedure is right for you, they just sell, sell sell!

Lived with tinnitus and Eustachian tube dysfunction for a year after a head injury. About 3 weeks after Dr. Pitts treated my cervical spine with Regenexx stem cells I was off antibiotics for the chronic sinus infections I've been living with and now at 8 weeks my sinus stays open most of the time and the ringing is almost gone. As my spine stabilized, the muscle trigger points in my neck that were causing my problems released and so went the dysfunction. Worth every penny and the trip to CO.

On my first visit, Dr. Pitts did a very thorough evaluation and spent a long time with me discussing my condition and options. I had a procedure done the next day to tide me over until I got my stem cell procedure a few months later. He’s very skilled and precise with the injections and has a very happy and comforting disposition. Him and his staff are quick to respond when I contact them and he does follow up phone calls or emails to see how I’m doing after a procedure. Highly recommend him!
