Dr. John Prevedel, MD

I have a serious cardiology issue with a many year history with Dr Prevedel. His aurora staff was snippy and hung up on me when I said I needed help. I’m shocked and I’m sure he would be as well.

I would highly recommend Dr. Prevedel! He is very knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. It is obvious that he cares about his patients, listens and offers solutions to their problem.

I am glad to have Dr John Prevedel as my cardiologist. He is an active listener and answer all questions patiently. I feel very comfortable as a patient of his.

The team seemed honest and caring. Th doctor will follow up on getting records and will do more testing to be sure there are no blockages. I appreciated the individual concern.

Regular 6 month exam to check heart function and monitor status of my atrial fibrillation. No EKG needed this time. Dr. Prevedel increased dosage of my blood pressure medication Lisinopril to help increase my heart rate from 45 to 60 bpm. He has been carefully adjusting several of my blood pressure meds and also has been diligently monitoring vital signs and medication dosages over the 8 years I’ve been seeing him. He makes me comfortable I’m in good hands. This was especially true early on when he went out of his way to call me at home on a Saturday to inform me that blood test results, done for my primary care doctor at that time and a copy of which we’re cc’d to Dr. Prevedel, showed very high levels for potassium and that I should immediately go to a hospital emergency room to be checked. I did, was found to have Hyperkalemia due to drug interactions, and was admitted to the critical care unit for 3 days of treatment. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Prevedel as my Cardiologist.

I was very impressed with Dr. Prevedel and the staff at Aurora/Denver Cardiology Assoc. He LISTENED to me and allowed me to tell him about my concerns. (This is getting to be very rare). The 2 med. techs were so polite, helpful and professional. I highly recommend A/D Cardiology Assoc. No wait time.

I had a TIA for no apparent reason. After a through exam and not finding a cause Dr.Prevedal decided to go with a loop recorder. The loop recorder hasn’t recorded any anomaly’s at this point.

I have been seeing Dr. Prevedel since 2012, when he placed 2 stents in my LAD artery. I find him to be knowledgeable, respectful, and responsive. To date I am in good cardiac health, which I believe is the best measure of merit. I highly recommend Dr. Prevedel.

he is always concerned about your health, I really don't have anything wrong with my heart except I have Afib. Always makes sure I follow up with my primary physician which I do every 6 months as I do with Dr Prevedel.
