Positive for basic pain management
I was a patient of Dr Reyher for 18 months. I appreciated that he actually talks to his patients instead of having a PA diagnosing and communicating treatment. His nurse Kora is a wonderful, compassionate and efficient nurse. Dr. Reyher was always late to the appointments (reviewing your chart would be a good reason) but never left enough time to communicate with the patient and go over the next options after the last procedure failed to alleviate any pain. As a DO, he advocates PT and injections as the cure, but unfortunately he does not prescribe opioids unless you are an end stage cancer patient. (This is common now that risk management has neutered the medical profession with risk avoidance practices).Dr Reyher is a kind person who tried hard with what he could provide, but ultimately failed to help me.AMA, AHS and the CDC are my torturers

Holistically Speaking
If you want a doctor that's concerned about the whole body, then Dr Reyher is great. He wants to make sure that as we are healing from pain that we don't destroy our Liver or kidneys. I have gotten the best advice from him for many years. He tries everything before prescribing organ destroying medications.

I have had epidurals administered by Dr. Reyher and both times he and his staff made me feel at ease and comfortable. Dr. Reyher has a wonderful and warm bedside manner. I highly recommend him for pain management.

Dr. Reyher performed a Selective Nerve Root Block on me yesterday, 5/21/19, at Renown Rehabilitation Center. I was very anxious about the procedure when I came in. The staff at Renown were all very helpful and kind. Dr. Reyher came and spoke to me prior to the procedure, he answered all my questions and was very reassuring. In the procedure room, Dr. Reyher explained everything he was doing and what I might experiance. Dr. Reyher paused during the procedure as I was starting to feel some pain during the injection of the medicine. Overall my experiance was very good and I would recommend Dr. Reyher to anyone seeking this procedure. Pat C.

I had an appointment with Dr Reyher and, without prior knowledge, he didn't show up and his physician assistant fill in. He didn't know me or my history. They didn't help me at all. Wasted my time.

Would not recommend to family, friends, or even perfect strangers. His promises of making you feel better are complete lies, but will certainly decrease your quality of life, hurt you, and make you feel worse. To the point of having to cancel other appointments because of the pain he puts you in after putting his hands on you claiming an exam. Was not a choice office, but certainly is a choice to live and heal rather then slowly die in pain! Does only what he decides to do, doesn't listen.

Been a patient Approximately five years when I first began with Dr. Rire I could not use the function of my left leg and I could not stand more than five minutes at a time since Dr. Rire has taking care of me with disc ablation I am able to walk again. It’s a procedure I must have every year but without that I would be in a wheelchair. I am so Grateful to Dr Ryer and Dr. James Rappaport without them I do not know where I would be today! Your team is the best and I wanna say THANK YOU ,

This guy is a kook, he does not care about improving your quality of life only for billing your insurance for unneeded procedures and prescribing medications that are not helpful but are actually detrimental with long term use. I would not recommend this Dr to my worst enemy much less a friend or family member. So be wary if he ends up being g your treating physician

I have osteoporosis and multiple compression fracture along with 2 Kyphoplasty's and 7 years worth of procedures and surgeries. I meet Dr. Reyher mid year in 2016 and he took me as a patient and claimed to do procedures and treatments. ***What a Lier and a painful waste of time the 40 days was that it took me to get another pain management doctor... . ****He methodically almost killed me by taking my pain medication away for leaving. I reported him to Medicare " Do Not Use Him

Worst doctor I have ever had contact with. Seems to truly hate patients or people who use pain medications. He does not do his own physical examinations. That is left to his smug assistant. He does not look for the cause of the pain. He does not seek or want patient input. His one size fits all treatment is to, "wean you from your narcotic medications", as stated in his philosophy. Expect nothing more from this charlatan. Sierra Regional Spine Institute espouses his views. Avoid them.

Thank God I found another doctor. I repeatedly told him something was going very wrong with my back. I repeatedly asked for a new MRI. I'd had one one year before. All he cared about. All..was forcing me off pain medication. Well, I found another doctor who immediately ordered an new MRI only to find a second disc has collapsed since the first MRI last year. The pain was unbearable. Now we are working on the actual cause of the pain and THEN stopping the blasted medication.
