He performed a Ross Procedure on me at age 26. I have nothing but great things to say about him. He was very nice and I didn't have any problems or complications at all. My cardiologist contacted him after doing a Tranesophogeal Echo. Dr. Rumisek was there for a consult shortly after I woke from the procedure and I was scheduled for surgery less than a week later.

Dr. Rumisek has by far the worst bedside manner I have ever seen. He operated on my grandmother left the hospital and didn't even update our family how the procedure went. He was suppose to come out and update the family after several hours of asking how everything went a nurse came out and apoligised and stated Dr. Rumsey had left the hospital hours ago and didn't have time to update our family. We asked him to take her off life support. He refused until her insurance ran out.

He is an awesome Doctor! He took very good care of me and was very caring and personable. His beside manner was impeccable and his knowledge and experience made my operation easier as I felt very safe in his hands. He knows his stuff. I ran into complications (a-fib) and he was very thorough in explaining what was going on and how to deal with it. While not an experience (triple bypass) you want to have if you have to go this route you are in the best of hands with Dr Rumisek.
