I was misdiagnosed. I went to see Dr. Song after months of sharp lower back pain. He didn't even order an MRI, but instead tried to sell me a back brace. I fortunately went to another doctor who not only recommended an MRI, but also discovered that I had a tumor growing on my spine. Do not recommend.

This guy missed my lumbar spine stenosis. He didn't even examine me or read the MRI report. Months later when I was not getting better but worse I lost control or my bladder and am having the surgery I should have had 7 months ago. I would not recommend this so called doctor to anyone. Smug and condescending. Tried to sell me a back brace. Thanks for nothing. Do not see this guy under any circumstances.

Misdiagnosed in Chicago – Jul 15, 2018

Dr Song operated on my husband when he was still working at Northwestern Memorial hospital in Chicago. I brought my husband in a wheel chair to see him in emergency. He had a problem with his lower back discs, Dr Song seemed to be pleasant and knowledgeable. He recommended Minimally invasive surgery. Surgery took 6 hours and Dr Song never came out to talk to me. My husband suffered a great deal of pain and discomfort, and still does to this day, constant pain that doesn’t go away...
