Dr. Thompson is a very highly skilled Orthopedic surgeon. His focus is on foot and ankle problems. In my case of a crush injury of the left ankle and foot, Dr. Thompson performed open reduction and fixation of multiple fractured bones and joint fusion of the great toe. In a four hour operation all of the fractured bones were repaired and excellent alignment was achieved.I had multiple office visits with Dr Thompson during my recovery. In addition to being a superlative surgeon, he is also an excellent communicator answering all of my questions and providing terrific support for me during my rehabilitation and recovery. I am now nearly nine months post surgery with X-ray evidence of excellent bone alignment with all hardware in place with no loosening or failure. And, best of all, I can independently walk for many miles without any assistive devices.I am so grateful!!

Dr. John Thompson is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He is professional, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, experienced and never too busy to answer questions. He is responsible for giving me back an active life. Prior to seeing him, I had several foot surgeries done by doctors in another state and I was left with severe arthritis and collapsed bones in my left foot. I was in tremendous pain and it was all I could do to walk from a handicapped spot in the parking lot to the front of a store. Dr. Thompson operated on my foot, using screws and a plate and a bone graft from my leg. After a year of using various scooters, boots and athletic shoes, I was pain free and did something I never thought I'd do again. Dr Thompson successfully repaired my peroneal tendon and adjusted the heel position. Dr Thompson always took the time to explain what was going on with my foot. After one year everything has healed great and I’m back to my regular activities. Thank you for getting me back on my feet.

Dr. Thompson was outstanding! I tore my Achilles Tendon at the beach playing pickleball. He responded to my inquiry over the weekend, saw me virtually the next day for a consultation, and got me scheduled for surgery within 8 days. The surgery went very well and the whole experience with he and his practice was just great.

Dr. Thompson is by far one of the best doctors I’ve worked with. I had surgery on my Achilles and he not only did a fantastic job surgically, but he was very easy to talk with, very knowledgeable and has a great “bedside manner.” I’ve only had 2 surgeries in my life, this being the second, so having a doctor like him that I fully trusted made things much easier for me. I knew he was always available for questions and when asked, he always responded promptly and with information that answered my question and made me feel better. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
