So happy I found him.
My former eye doctor retired and since I am a diabetic and need to have my eyes checked periodically. Dr. Vickers was recommended by a friend & I scheduled a visit with him. He was polite, punctual, professional, thorough and caring. I could not ask for anyone more qualified (in every way) to monitor my eye health. Thanks you, Dr. Vickers

Went for cataract surgery.
Terrible time. Ended up with floaters and was told 'well maybe they will go away' hand out for their co-pay. Stay away from.

Excellent cataract surgery
Dr Vickers has removed cataracts from both my eyes. Recovery from both surgeries was quick and without complications. My eyesight was restored by the next day. I can now drive legally without corrective lenses. He is kind and considerate. I am most grateful.

Dr Vickers was so nice and so helpful! I’m not from Long Island but was having contact problem and he was willing and able to see me since my eye was so inflamed. I had just flown in to MacArthur Airport from Florida and I was so thankful he was able to help me. So nice and sincere; he put me at ease right away since I was worried about my eye.

Dr. Vickers has been our family's ophthalmologist for 18 years. He is not only a good eye doctor, but also very personable and courteous, and very informative: he will take the time to answer questions and teach about vision. I would definitely recommend him.
