Dr. John Vu, MD

First of all, the blonde MA or nurse is snooty and rude. My son is autistic and she was obviously annoyed because he wasn’t a perfect child. “We have to focus on the appointment” okay, would make total sense if you actually listened to your patients. But I have to say, the icing on the cake had to be Dr Vu telling me my back is fine now, and basically blaming it on chemotherapy which ended two years ago! Wow! So Miraculous! Also, they suddenly don’t have any of my MRI results! Now all I need is PT and obv. another MRI! :D So my previous diagnoses are now irrelevant? These people will look you in the face, ugly crying… sweating profusely….and tell you there is nothing wrong with you. I know there has to be strict rules with pain medication, but many are suffering so they can play it safe. I quit cannabis, lost 50 lbs, actually making steps to do better… and he wanted to hear none of it. I left feeling totally humiliated, and confused. It’s called gaslighting and it’s wrong

No wait great care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My knee feels great

Talked with me about my condition and explained everything I asked I felt like he really cares about his patients

Dr Vu showed genuine concern about care. Reviewed options for present & future. Very happy with care.

I'm sure Dr. Vu is an excellent doctor, but I didn't feel comfortable with him. He didn't take time to listen to me or my daughter about this serious health issue I am suffering with. I'm seventy yrs.of age. His tone sounded like scolding, as if I was there simply for drugs, I am seventy and have constant pain on a daily basis. I definitely agree with getting the shots in my back to eliminate some of the issues I am having. I was excited about my visit with him, but thoroughly disappointed with his presence, as I have searched a long time for help and relief. We do feel pain and it is awful! I do thank him for seeing me. The staff was very nice and friendly and I commend them. I know that I am not suppose to say this, but may The Most High bless you all. Thank you.

Horrible bedside mannerism spoke to me as If I was incompetent and new nothing of healthcare or my condition . Arrogant rude and cocky .

This man just simply doesn't care that I have to put my life completely on hold because of my back pain that he chooses to do nothing about. 1st no matter what he will send you to PT. The PT Dr looked at me and told me there isn't any exercise that will help your back. You need surgery and need to go find another Dr. So The PT recommended a back Dr to me and I go see him tomorrow. This VU guy knows nothing.Please save yoirself from this guy he is terrible. The only thing he does is prescribe PT

Dr v is a wonderful dr help me with my lower back pain a pain that I was so depressed. Thank to Dr v no more pain . Please try him Patricia shubert miss PS I got to meet his assistant he was training at the hospital he will make a great Dr also

So I went to Dr.Vu cause a neighbor of mine had recommended I was seeing another doctor who I was not happy with upon him seeing me 5 min in the room without even reviewing my MRI he immediately said I’m gonna do this procedure well I had it done and now am in worse pain then when I went in when I notified Dr.Vu I was told that should t happen and something is wrong and it will pass well it has not

It worked very well. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Ready for another shot.!!

Absolutely terrible. Terrible communication. Untouchable on weekend even while patient at ER. Refused to provide service at Ochsner Slidell even though patient is admitted in that hospital. Dr Vu wants the patient to leave the hospital and be transported some place else. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s all about money and not the comfort and well being of the patient. I wouldn’t allow Dr Vu to treat me if I was getting paid to be treated. Dr Vu has allowed 3 weeks of extreme pain.

He is a PROCEDURE doctor which is amazing if his procedures were done within a few days of seeing him and pain is relieved. Unfortunately, his procedures are a month out and he does not care about the physical and mental pain one endures while waiting. I am confined to my bed with no pain reliefe waiting on a July 20th injection! I've since found a 5 star PM doctor who cares about his patients and have some reliefe while I wait for my procedure. I will NEVER return to this doctor again!!

Efficient staff..procedure went well and he seemed very proficient and well trained. Would have felt more confident with better explanation afterwards about what to expect but guess have to go back to Spine Specialist for that or just wait to see results. Had epidural today. ??

Dr. Vu figured out what was causing my pain and was able to treat it. I am now pain free.
