Dr. John Wang, MD

Dr. Wang is a very good Internal Medicine doctor. As a new patient (almost 2 years ago now) he took plenty of time to discuss my history and current concerns. My previous IM doctor at ADC retired and I needed to get a new one...I have seen him several times since. He always gets me thinking about what I need to be doing for my health. Dr. Wang referred me to an excellent cardiologist, who I had never needed before, but I was diagnosed with A-Fib and needed to get that addressed.My dad needed a new IM doctor too, so I encouraged my dad to see Dr. Wang, he did and has been pleased with him.I would recommend Dr. Wang to anyone that is looking for or wanting an Internal Medicine doctor rather than a Family Practice doctor. I will recommend him to my friends and family. My career was in healthcare sales so I'm pretty picky on my docs! I have known many doctors and appreciate his communication skills.Thank you Dr. Wang and thank your great staff too for the care I have received!

To finish my feedback - On a second medication that was important to manage the pain from an entrapped nerve, he at first seemed to think it was for treating headaches. I have been given this medication for all 7 years I have been treated at ADC. At the end of our discussion, he seemed to understand and appeared to agree to continue the medication. (Why it was even being reviewed, I never understood.) He issued one refill, but when time came for a new refill, the medications was NO LONGER on my medication list. I was asked to explain why I needed it (Yes!) and told that he had better medications for headache. I explained it all again and its origins in my prior brain surgery. I was then told that he could not refill it as it would violate a contract I had with a pain mgmt center. This made no sense, as I have had that relationship for years, that center knew i was getting this med, and no other practitioner raised such an issue. And there is even more, as regards my wife ...

Just overall a really strong doctor. Helps make patients feel at ease and helps answer questions.

Dr Wang met with me after the holidays to help assess a potential exposure to COVID. Dr Wang reviewed my extensive medical history and offered practical feedback taking my unique profile into account. He was quickly able to provide for my COVID testing in a convenient drive through arrangement. Thanks for being there during a crazy busy time!

He very understanding and caring about his patients. I like that he went in detail on my visit and explain it for me to understand. I definitely recommend him.
