I had to have emergency wrist surgery after a nasty break on a work trip while in Denver. I was able to get in with him the day after the ER and have operation on the second day after falling. His bedside manner is exceptional. His team, Alex and others were over the top professional, accommodating and clearly very experienced. I felt at ease immediately during the consult and even after the surgery even though my recovery has been pretty painful. New hardware in wrist long plate and ten screws and I am almost back to normal range after 6 weeks post op. Try not to break your wrist, one of the most painful bones I have ever broken and I have a had a few surgeries with other Orthopedic surgeons in the area and you can be assured for my extremities hurts in the future, Dr Woodward will be my first call

Dr. Woodward is one of the best surgeons in Denver. He cares, he does the right thing for patients and I would send my entire family to him in a heart beat!

He had me take off my boot cast when I still had an open fracture. He told me I didn't need physical therapy when I absolutely did. 10 months later and my fracture is still not fully healed. When I saw his assistant she said I may need a bone graph or a bone stimulator to help it heal. Dr. Woodward then came in the room and told me to 'Just live with it' and would not let me get a word in so I could advocate for myself.

I have had Dr Woodward for 2 knee total replacements and a hip revision. Following a blood test for possible metal issues re a metal hip replacement 15 years ago, Dr Woodward called me, alarmed that my heavy metal level was 700% of normal. I have never had a physician call me. I was impressed and grateful. An excellent surgeon, an excellent doctor overall, and a very fine and caring human being. For joint issues, the best.

Had long overdue hip replacement. 2 months out, I am completely pain free, hiking, gardening and enjoying life! Dr. Woodward has replaced both my hips and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Woodward was the first of three surgeons I consulted about the arthritis in my knees. Dr. Woodward spent 4 minutes with me, showing only one of the four xrays taken, and told me that I needed surgery on both knees. He then brought in an administrator, Laurie, to discuss scheduling and billing. After consulting with two more surgeons, I realized that Dr. Woodword didn't state what kind of surgery he wanted me to have (partial or full), nor did he provide me with any visuals of what this would look like. The two other surgeons I consulted with, spent 20 minutes with me, showed me all the xrays taken, asked me several questions about my history and lifestyle, and showed me models of partial and full knee replacements. In the end, they both recommended physical therapy, which I will be doing at a facility that is not connected with OrthoOne.

Wow! I had my 1st appt. with Dr. Woodward yesterday, for knee pain, needing knee replacement surgery! He put me at ease immediately upon meeting him! He brought lots of humor to my appt. and was very helpful, answering my questions. I will definitely be using him for my knee surgery in the future!

Dr. Woodward and his medical assistant, Elizabeth were wonderful to me the whole healing process for my broken elbow. They answered all my questions from the beginning. My one year recheck was comfortable and friendly. I was put at ease from the moment they walked into the exam room. I definitely recommend them.

The appts and surgery for both my knee replacements 3 months apart went seamlessly. Dr Woodward is on top of it and checks in frequently. The staff at both locations including hospital were so professional and caring. I highly recommend Dr Woodward for knee replacement surgery!
