This place is efficient. I was never alone for more than 3 minutes. It’s like chik-fil-a in the sense that everyone is pleasant. Got a cat scan within 20 minutes of arriving, took 40 seconds, and saw color 3D images of my bones 5 minutes later. I don’t like spending a lot of time in a doctors office but i could tell Dr. Z was willing to sit there and talk more if i wanted. My visit here was much shorter than my visit at my primary, but i felt more cared for here; there was no wasted time. Right off the bat the doctor gave me his number and yet he still called me first with results between performing surgeries. Honestly, it feels like he cares more about my broken bone and ligaments than i do. Through his explanations you can tell he is up to date and cutting edge. He lays out all the options and informs you well, making a difficult decision a little easier.

Dr. Zimmerman is great to work with. He’s thorough and spends and the time necessary to listen to his patients and tackle the problem.

I love Dr. Zimmerman! He did both of my bunion surgeries + heel movement + endoscopic calf release and did them absolutely perfect. He is very personable and I also like how precise he is with incisions. I was given his cell number to text if I have any questions or concerns after surgery which was so convenient! I would recommend this doctor to any one who needs any kind of foot surgery. I trust him 100%!

Great doctor ???????. Very informative. Explains everything in detail. Very Professional . Clean environment, waiting time is reasonable. Appointment scheduling very prompt. My son and daughter both play sports and have feet pain. Doctor Zimmerman has helped them care for the pain and showed them way to prevent pain. Extremely happy ?? with all the services that have been provided to us.

Be aware that if you have PRP with a procedure that "damages" the tendon in an effort to stimulate healing, and PRP doesn't work for you, you will be left with a more damaged tendon that may not heal. I've also since learned that PRP is not as effective as some physicians believe. PRP did not work for me, after 10 weeks in a boot and 5 months of horrible pain and swelling, I have to have a big surgery to repair the damage that the procedure caused. If you choose PRP, have the injection only.

I highly recommend Dr Zimmerman to anyone who asks me about foot problems. He has the highest integrity and impeccable surgical skills. He is always up on the latest procedures and creates some of them himself. I trust him with any medical issue I may have. Dr. Zimmerman is a first rate Dr. and Bakersfield is lucky to have him!

Excellent doctor. He diagnosis the problem accurately, He is up to date on procedures. I like the fact he knows how to treat the athlete, and what works, He does not just give you unnecessary shots and speaks to you about worthwhile procedures. He takes the time with and values you as a patient..

On my first visit I felt something was not right, should have listen to myself.  The doctor ordered in house X-rays and MRI, when he didn't like what he was seeing he ordered up a MRI at another location because this place had a bigger magnet and would get better results.  On my second visit he read the report from the outside MRI and did not agree with this doctor's report, why send me out for a procedure if you are not going to agree with the doctor findings, he wants to have another procedure
