I have been taking my children to Dr. D'Andrea for 25 years. He is thorough and takes his time with each visit. He is calm and respectful. He trusts mothers intuition and always takes the time to listen to what I think my children need. I have complete confidence in him and never hesitate to take his advice. After seeing another doctor for a few years due to insurance, when we returned to see him, he read through an extensive amount of paperwork that had been sent to him to get up to speed. He has always been there for our family. When we had a newborn taken to CHLA, he made sure that he was kept informed of her health as well as making sure that I and my family were coping with the situation. When the baby passed away, he took time out of his very busy schedule to attend her funeral. Despite a few moves and insurance changes, he is always our number one choice for a pediatrician.

We've been taking our 12 and 4 year old sons there for a couple of years. Very thorough and spends the time needed. Good communicator and bedside manner. The office is usually quite busy, but our appointments are usually close to being on time. He also has kids so he understands our questions from a parents point of view - which is important to us - about certain vaccines, procedures, etc. Would definitely recommend him as a pediatrician.

For years, I trusted and adored Dr. D’Andrea. In all honesty, he gave us 2 of the worst referrals but I never held that against him (because I genuinely “liked” him). He was there when my sons were born, and for all checkups. We all trusted him! Yet Dr. D’Andrea has been my worst nightmare come true. My son, at age 18, was prescribed amphetamines for ADHD despite NO signs his whole life! Today my son is struggling with addiction to prescription amphetamines for adhd at age 21. Avoid this doc.

Dr. D’Andrea has been seeing my children for 6 years, since they were young toddlers. He is an excellent doctor. Knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and patient. He takes the time to talk and answer questions, and has always spoken with me in a collaborative, inclusive way when I’ve researched the issue at hand beforehand. I would highly recommend Dr. D’Andrea and his wonderful nurses and office staff.

Dr D’Andrea has been seeing our son for almost 5 years now. He is pleasant, professional and relates well to children. Our son is never afraid to see him because of his pleasant treatment. Jon D’Andrea takes additional time to talk with us and answer any questions we have. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been provided with 3 unacceptable references over the years for my children. One was terribly mean to my child and one did an office procedure that led to a hospital stay afterward. The office staff is outstanding, but the waits in the rooms are long. Every time there is a wait. If I could go back in time, I would choose a different doctor. If I knew then what I know now...
