Dr. Tomei and his nursing staff are amazing. My granddaughter is six and she loves coming to see Dr. Tomei. He is very patient and kind and she says he is very nice.

I had 3 children going to Uva Pediatric Now I have two because of the age of the other one had to leave That was a sad day

Dr Tomei was very friendly and really made us feel good about the choice we made to come to UVA PEDS. He answered every question that we had confidently and even related to us with explanations of his own kids. I really like Drs that are personal it makes you really feel like they care.

Best Peds MD around
Dr. Tomei is the only pediatric doctor I will take my children to. We have been his patients for over ten years. We always liked Dr. Tomei. But, when my youngest daughter was born she was born with a tag on her back that was close to her spine. He did a great job examining her and recommended we go to UVA for further imaging just to be sure it wasn’t connected to her spine in anyway even though he didn’t think it was, he took the time to make sure he had confirmed proof that it was nothing more than cosmetic. Ever since then I have always recommended him and been grateful for his thoroughness! He takes the time to earn my kids trust and goes over growth details with me well. Overall I have so much respect for him as my girls Doctor. Thanks for making a difference in their lives and how they view doctors!
