Dr. Jon Walker, MD

I visited Dr. Walker for recurring abdominal pain and discomfort and found him to be very caring and an attentive listener. His initial examination revealed no critical signs so we discussed IBS and he suggested a low-FODMAP diet to eliminate food sensitivities. I did an elimination diet and then added back individual foods to ID sensitivities, finding none of consequence. With the counsel of Dr. Walker and nurse practitioner Laurie Rosales I adjusted my diet to include more high-fiber foods (25-30g per day) and high-hydration, which completely resolved my pain issues after several weeks. I can't say enough about nurse practitioner Rosales who spent considerable time with me to discuss gut health and dietary decisions. Since I had not had a colonoscopy in 13 years, Dr. Walker performed one and found a polyp and no additional complications. I highly recommend both Dr. Walker and Laurie Rosales.

Nobody wants to have a colonoscopy, but Dr. Walker made it as pleasant as it could be. They were prompt, friendly, professional, and communicated extremely well with me. I was in and out of there in a couple of hours. I felt great afterwards also! The prep is not fun, but Dr. Walker can’t control that. The peace of mind I received after a positive report is priceless.

What an amazing doctor. He talked to me before the procedures and explained everything and talked to me after the procedures. Dr. Walker has a great bedside manner and makes you feel very comfortable. I am glad he is the one that did my procedures.

Dr. Walker took note of my past history of of gastrointestinal issues and my concerns now. When having questions, he answered quickly within the portal as well. Though, he never rushed me through any appointments and always told me to keep him posted.

And just as importantly , he treats you like a person, not a number. A good blend of professional competency and humanity . Now that is my kind of a doctor.

I had a routine colonoscopy with Dr. Jon Walker recently. My experience from start to finish was incredible. My nurses were the sweetest, and my anesthesiologist was very comforting! Dr. Walker was the nicest! All of them took their time to let me know exactly what was happening at every moment. I would highly recommend this group to anyone!
